The purpose of this study is to answer the research questions on how pesantren Al Ittihad guards the Islamic moderation inherited from the previous generation in this globalization era, what aspects of moderation are carried out and how to implement them. To answer these two research questions, the researcher used technique of data collection through interview, documentation and observation. Based on the results of documentation and interview with kyai, alumni and administrator of pesantren, it produced comprehensive information. After collecting the data, the researcher analyzes by steps, namely data reduction, data display, data verification and conclusions. There are two conclusions in this study. First, there are four types of programs run by pesantren Al Ittihad in guarding the Islamic moderation in Indonesia. First, the teaching of a classical book as a medium for the transformation of Islamic sciences. Second, the implementation of extra-educational activities and pesantren teaching in the form of speech, negotiation, ziarah kubur, yasinan, mujahadah, Al Barjanji, manaqib, and tahlil. Third, establishing formal school in the pesantren for santri and the community around it. Fourth, inviting government and community leaders who have moderate Islamic understanding. This article aims at answering the questions on how the strategy used by majlis ta’lim developed in the Nahdliyyin community in strengthening Islamic moderation in this globalization era, and what are its advantages as a non-formal institution. In terms of answering these questions, the writer used the technique of collecting the data through interviews and observation. Considering that this study tends to be traditional, there is no need for written documents. The interview was conducted with the Muslim figures as activists of majlis ta’lim, and the observation was carried out through joining the recitation held by Muslimat. The collected data show that majlis ta’lim is a strategic place for strengthening and building Islamic moderation. Its strategy is carried out in several ways. First, inviting Islamic moderation figures to majlis ta’lim. Second, determining moderate themes as the main focus of the recitation. Third, optimizing majlis ta’lim as a massive movement. The advantages of majlis ta’lim as one of the public forums for Muslim community are: First, majlis ta’lim is a forum for education and teaching followed by its members. Second, the emotional relation among those members is stronger as compared to those in other forums. Third, the recitation in majlis ta’lim makes no difference in the profession, occupation, and position of the members.
Imla’ is one of the elements of Arabic language with a quite complex in writing, this problem is also faced by students of the Arabic Language Study Program at the State Islamic Institute of Salatiga. In this research, Imla's errors were collected through a written test. The analysis steps are carried out in three steps, first; collecting language errors data, second; identifying and classifying language errors, third; explaining language errors and the correct language standards. Based on the analysis, the results are; 1). The error in writing letters that are similar in a word, 2). Lack of writing hamza washal on words that should begin with hamza, 3). The error in writing al syamsiya on words that should not be written with al syamsiya, 4). The error in writing ta' marbutha, 5). The error in writing the mark of hamza in words beginning with the mark of hamza qatha', 6). The error in writing hamza in the middle of a word, 7). The error or lack of alif tafriq, 8). The error in writing alif layyina in the middle of a word, 9). The error in writing ta 'marbutha on certain words that should be written with ta' maftuha.
