This research aims to explore the dynamic relationships within sustainable entrepreneurship. This research examines the evolving nature of sustainable entrepreneurship in the presence of three major aspects: social, economic, and environmental. In management literature, the idea of sustainable entrepreneurship is relatively new. Sustainable business practices are frequently referred to as stainability business practices. The idea was conceived to connect books on entrepreneurship and sustainable development. A qualitative research methodology is adopted for this research. Thirty-nine students from Art & Design sector were included in this study. A total of 39 students were involved in the research process. Students were later given a detailed project to submit entrepreneurial projects, including the sustainability factors. These 39 students were the graduates of the final semester from four different sectors: Fashion Design, Textile Design, Interior Architecture Design, and Graphic Design. It is not easy to progress toward sustainable entrepreneurship policies for all stakeholders involved to maximise their operations and benefits due to the fact that the existing institutional structures prefer the currently operating businesses and systems that are not sustainable over the more recent ones that are sustainable. The research findings in this study provide insights into concepts important to understanding sustainable entrepreneurship in a developing country. Social entrepreneurship is a vast growing economic phenomenon that is being studied in academic research. Social entrepreneurship explores new boundaries for policy makers to transform the economic growth and development of a nation. It represents the future the of service sector by applying innovation and providing potential opportunities for new job creation. According to the study from a developing country like Pakistan, the research concludes key challenges faced by social enterprises that represent a broader picture of the phenomenon. According to the need of better understand the operations of social enterprises, this research also provides six key solutions that, if implemented, will help to achieve welfare and economic growth of the country. Based on the data collected from 24 semi-structured interviews of 12 different social enterprises operating in Pakistan, this research provides useful insights to laying the foundation for further development of a theory of social entrepreneurship. The key challenges identified and the solutions provided will help to develop a rich understanding of the multi-disciplinary phenomenon. By combining key concepts through comparing and contrasting the existing scenarios and then providing their effective solutions will help such social organizations to effectively achieve their missions by creating a social value in the society.
This research aims to examine secondary and higher secondary students' perceptions about career options related to Art & Design studies. A comparative study approach is conducted between the secondary and higher secondary students who opted for Art & Design and the prospective students of Art & Design. Each data set includes 200 respondents from both types of students, making a data set of 400 respondents. Based on constructionism and symbolic, philosophical assumptions, quantitative research methodology has been induced to complete this research. The data is gathered through structured telephonic interviews to analyze the responses. For this research, a checklist was designed that included the same type of questions from both types of students. The results show that the students, specifically in the context of Pakistan, look forward to being employed in a lavish environment through seeking professional degrees apart from whether the field they are choosing would win their interest. This study recommends researching the institutes where Art & design is not a part of the educational programs to transmit the attention of authorities towards it.
