Based on the research that the researcher has done, the researcher concludes that the use of multimedia powerpoint in thematic learning of theme 9 sub-theme 2 in class V SDN 1 Mutihan has a positive impact on increasing student learning outcomes. This can be seen from the increase in the acquisition of learning outcomes shown in each cycle. The acquisition of learning outcomes in the pre-cycle there were only 9 students out of 20 students or only 45% of students who completed. After using multimedia powerpoint in learning in the first cycle, the acquisition value was quite increased to 14 students from 20 students or 70% of students who completed. The acquisition of learning outcomes in cycle II also experienced a significant increase in learning outcomes, namely 18 students who completed from 20 students or 90% of students who completed. Based on these data, it can be concluded that the use of multimedia powerpoint in thematic learning of theme 9 sub-theme 2 can improve the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 1 Mutihan. ABSTRAKBerdasarkan penelitian yang peneliti telah lakukan, maka peneliti memberikan kesimpulan bahwa penggunaan multimedia powerpoint dalam pembelajaran tematik tema 9 subtema 2 pada kelas V SDN 1 Mutihan memberikan dampak positif dalam meningkatkan perolehan hasil belajar siswa. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari adanya peningkatan perolehan hasil belajar yang ditunjukkan pada setiap siklusnya. Adapun perolehan hasil belajar pada pra siklus hanya ada 9 siswa dari 20 siswa atau hanya 45% siswa yang tuntas. Setelah menggunakan multimedia powerpoint dalam pembelajaran di siklus pertama nilai perolehan cukup meningkat menjadi 14 siswa dari 20 siswa atau 70% siswa yang tuntas. Perolehan hasil belajar pada siklus II juga mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar yang cukup signifikan kenaikannya, yaitu 18 siswa yang tuntas dari 20 siswa atau 90% siswa yang tuntas. Berdasarkan data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan multimedia powerpoint dalam pembelajaran tematik tema 9 subtema 2 dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas V SDN 1 Mutihan.
Knowing the students’ technology acceptance about the use of learning media is important because it can measure how far the media’s utilisation is.The research purpose is to recognize the significant influence between the variable of Technology Acceptance Model, such as perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, attitude towards use and behaviour intention in accepting software Tell Me More for teaching English. The participants of this research consisted of 51 students of English Education Study Program from Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro. Questionnaire was used to find out the students’ acceptance towards the use of software Tell Me More. Regression analysis is applied to analyze the data. Based on the data analysis through the questionnaire, it is revealed that there was significant influence between the variable of technology acceptance model towards the students’ acceptance of Tell Me More software.
This study entitled “The Indonesian Classroom Management. It is purposed to answer the problem formulation that questioning about how the Indonesian classroom behaves, how Indonesian classrom is managed by the teacher, and how the confortable classroom look like based on the students’ perspective. This research used descriptive qualitative that describe the data that have been collected. The object of this study is the Indonesian classroom behaviour. The data were collected by observing the Indonesian classroom especially in English subject. The data collected were interpreted and described in the report. The result shows that Indonesian classroom has some behaviours such as; make a line before entering the class, praying before the class begin, singing the National Anthem, shaking the teachers’ hands whether in the begining and closing of the class, asking permission when to leave the class just for washing hands, praying after finish the whole activities in a day. In can be concluded from the result that Indonesian classroom has a very polite and orderly.
Despite many studies focusing on writing materials, few developed e-book writing materials for university students. This study aims to 1) analyze the students' and lecturers' needs related to the development of the Introduction to Essay Writing Course's textbook based on HOTS-Tech (Higher Order Thinking Skill-Technology) integrated with CM-PBL (Case Method-Project Based Learning) and 2) to develop an Introduction to Essay Writing Course's textbook based on HOTS-Tech integrated with CM-PBL. This study employs R &D with the ADDIE model (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, Evaluate). Participants in the current study are 35 university students and four lecturers. We employed instruments such as questionnaires, interviews, and observations. Data collection traces the ADDIE model, while the data analysis employs non-parametric statistics with a descriptive quantitative model. The result shows that the book adheres contents of the book, material presentation, presentation order, the balance of the chapter, language use, and layout. The activities should cover higher-order thinking skills (HOTs) under main categories; analyzing, evaluating, and creating. The current study implies that EFL university teachers embed technology and HOTs in the Essay Writing e-book to promote the techno-skill of the current generation.
