The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of a waterwheel with a breastshot using a nozzle. The test was carried out experimentally on a laboratory scale and to anticipate the relatively large size of the program because of the complexity in data acquisition and control, the Arduino Mega 2560 board was used. In this study, a breastshot-type waterwheel with 12 blades with a water flow rate of 12 liters/second was used. By using the analysis, the results show that the mechanical data and the efficiency of the wheel are affected by the flow of water hitting the blade using a nozzle. The tilt angle of the nozzle is very important, the steeper the nozzle, the faster the water flow will hit the blade of the wheel. In the rotation test (rpm), the highest mechanical power and efficiency at the use of a single nozzle with an angle (25 °) of the highest efficiency is 86.34% at 76 rpm, which is 33 Watt and the lowest power is 15 Watt at 19 rpm with an efficiency of 39.76% at discharge 12 liters / second. While the use of a double nozzle with an angle (25 ° -15 °) has the highest efficiency of 89.26% at 63 rpm, which is 37 Watt and the lowest power is at 16 rpm, which is 14 Watt, with an efficiency of 35.4% at a discharge of 15 liters / second.
Pembangkit listrik tenaga mikrohidro merupakan pembangkit listrik skala kecil yang menggunakan air sebagai penggeraknya dan penggerak mula adalah turbin. Sistem pembangkit ini sangat tepat digunakan di pedesaan karena sistem ini mudah dibuat, menghasilkan daya listrik yang cukup besar dan biaya pembuatan yang lebih relatif murah. Atas dasar diatas maka perlu dirancang suatu turbin yang mendukung sistem pembangkit ini, diantaranya adalah Turbin Aliran Silang. Untuk merancang sebuah turbin air agar tidak terjadi kesalahan dalam perancangan (seperti hal-nya biaya pembuatannya) maka dilakukan perancangan desain. Sebuah perancangan desain Turbin Aliran Silang dirancang dengan debit (Q) = 1.2 m3/s, head (H) = 17 m dengan efisiensi 0,75. Spesifikasi teknik utama dari hasil perancangan turbin adalah diameter runner (D) = 510 mm,putaran poros turbin 471 rpm dengan kecepatan spesifik 61.33 rpm daya air 200.124 kW dan memproduksi daya listrik sebesar 100.86kW.

Oleh karena itu, diperlukan Monitoring & Repairing Hydroulic dan Pneumatic Menggunakan Smartphone Berbasis QR-Code di Industri Kertas untuk mempermudah operator atau pengguna mesin dalam melakukan cheklist secara berkala. Penelitian ini diawali dengan menyiapkan file berupa dokumen Monitoring & Repairing Hydroulic dan Pneumatic. Kemudian membuat QR-Code melalui Aplikasi Printer Brother. Dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat mempermudah cheklist perawatan Monitoring & Repairing Hydroulic dan Pneumatic.
The hydraulic system is an energy transmission system utilizing liquid fluids. Liquids possess a characteristic different from solids in their inability to withstand shear stress. The employed methodology is qualitative research, also referred to as naturalistic qualitative research, which entails a natural implementation without manipulating circumstances. This study aims to identify the causes of damage to the hydraulic system in the press section machine, along with implementing appropriate corrective measures, while examining the hydraulic functioning of the press section machine. The research problem specifically focuses on analyzing the damage to the hydraulic cylinder and addressing cylinder seal failure. The damage results from seal wrinkling caused by aging, heat and wear. It is important to ensure that the hydrostatic test pressure is carried out at pressures up to 20 MPa with a holding time of at least 30 seconds. This examination ensures that the hydraulic roll press problem has been fully resolved and will not reoccur. Hydraulic systems offer numerous advantages as an energy source in various applications. These advantages include their lightweight nature, ease of installation, and low maintenance requirements. Inadequate performance in the hydraulic roller pressure section is attributed to a hydraulic cylinder seal that does not meet the specified standards, necessitating replacement with a suitable seal.
Boiler adalah perangkat konversi energi yang mengubah air menjadi tekanan uap dan suhu menjadi uap yang dapat digunakan. Boiler sebagai penghasil uap memegang peranan yang sangat penting dalam proses produksi, sehingga digunakan sebagai sumber energi pada lini produksi pada industri makanan dan industri lainnya.. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan analisis berdasarkan kajian data yang telah ada sebelumnya. Angka yang didapatkan diambil dari sumber literatur yang valid dan kemudian diolah untuk mencari data-data hasil kajian. Dari penelitian yang telah dilakukan, didapatkan hasil spesifikasi uap berupa uap basah ; diameter boiler 150 cm ; Panjang boiler 300 cm ; diameter pipa api 60 cm ; dan jumlah pipa api 54 buah. Hasil penelitian yang telah didapatkan, diharapkan dapat dijadikan referensi sebuah model desain mesin yang dapat diterapkan pada industri, balai pelatihan, atau institusi pendidikan.
