This present study tries to investigate the students’ writing performance to know whether interlanguage fossilization is occurring or not. The primary goal of this research is to give information relating to interlanguage fossilization in students’ writing performance of the English Education Study Program of IAIN JuraiSiwo Metro. This research is qualitative research. It is used to describe interlanguage fossilization that occurred in students’ writing performance. The writer uses observation, documentation, and interview to collect the data. Purposive sampling is the technique for choosing the ten students of the sixth and the eight-semester of English Education Study Program of IAIN JuraiSiwo Metro in the Academic Year of 2017/2018. The result of this research shows that there are two types of interlanguage fossilization that are commonly produced by students’ writing performance. They are syntactical fossilization and morphological fossilization. Syntactical fossilization consists of 71,86% and morphological fossilization consists of 28,14%. Moreover, the interlanguage fossilization phenomenon in students’ writing performance is caused by the students’ low English proficiency. Therefore, students should be more active to improve their English ability.
Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap keefektifan pelaksanaan program BTQ di IAIN Pekalongan dengan menggunakan evaluasi model CIPP (context, input, process, product). Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian evaluatif dengan pendekatan diskriptif kuantitatif. Teknik dan instrumen pengumpulan data melalui observasi dan angket yang disajikan dalam bentuk tabel-tabel dan presentase setiap komponen dan dianalisis dalam setiap indikator. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aspek konteks program BTQ masuk kategori sangat baik. Adapun aspek input program BTQ masuk kategori sangat baik, hanya saja terdapat satu indikator yaitu sarana prasarana (modul pembelajaran) yang belum maksimal dengan persentase 17,97% cukup, 7,03% rendah dan 10,94% sangat rendah. Sedangkan aspek proses program BTQ masuk dalam kategori cukup khususya indikator yang kurang efektif dan efesien yaitu dalam hal pelaksanaan pembelajaran (alokasi waktu) dengan persentase 14,06% cukup, 5,47% rendah, dan 20,31% menyatakan sangat rendah. Terakhir aspek produk program BTQ masuk dalam kategori cukup khsusnya dalam bidang psikomotorik (kemampuan menulis) belum maksimal dengan persentase 6,25% cukup, 13,28% rendah, dan 13,28% sangat rendah. Kata kunci: Evaluasi, Model CIPP, Program BTQ Abstrak : This articels aims to uncover the effectiveness of the BTQ program implementation at IAIN Pekalongan by using the CIPP evaluation model (context, input, process, product). This type of research is evaluative research with quantitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques and instruments through observation and questionnaires are presented in the form of tables and percentages of each component and analyzed in each indicator. The results of this study indicate that aspects of the BTQ program context are categorized as very good. The input aspect of the BTQ program is in the very good category, only there is one indicator, which is infrastructure which has not been maximized with a percentage of 17.97% enough, 7.03% low and 10.94% very low. Whereas aspects of the BTQ program process fall into the category of quite specifically the indicators that are less effective and efficient, namely in terms of implementation of learning (time allocation) with a percentage of 14.06% sufficient, 5.47% low, and 20.31% stated very low. The last aspect of BTQ program products is included in the category of quite specifically in the field of psychomotor (writing ability) has not been maximized with a percentage of 6.25% is enough, 13.28% is low, and 13.28% is very low.

The Role of Islamic Boarding Schools in Shaping Generation Z's Morals In Pekalongan. This article aims to analyze the role and values of Islamic boarding schools in the traditions carried out in Islamic boarding schools as a solution to the problems of Generation Z regarding their morals, manners and morals which are fading and disappearing in the era of globalization. This research is a qualitative research. The informants in this study were caregivers, Mu'alim, and students at the Al-Uthmani Islamic Boarding School. Methods of data collection using interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the role of Islamic boarding schools in shaping generation Z had three dimensions, namely the divinity dimension (hablum minallah), the human dimension (hablum minannas), and the natural environment dimension (hablum minal 'alam). These dimensions are formed from the traditions and customs that exist in Islamic boarding schools. The cottage tradition has its own value that can shape the character of the santri so that the pesantren becomes the best consideration and solution for the guardians of the santri to choose the best education in the era of digitalization with clear educational achievements in the formation of good morals.
