On an interannual time-scale, the Indonesian climate is strongly influenced by the dynamics of Indo-Pacific climate modes. This study aims to investigate the possible impact of different types of El Niño events, namely, typical El Niño and El Niño Modoki, on Indonesian rainfall variability. Seasonal composite analysis was used to evaluate the magnitude and significance level of the influence of El Niño on the rainfall variability over the Indonesian region. Typical El Niño (hereafter El Niño) has a stronger influence on Indonesian rainfall than the El Niño Modoki during boreal autumn in September, October, and November when the events almost reach their peak. Cold sea surface temperature (SST) anomalies were observed in the Indonesian sea and in the western Pacific during El Niño years, while cold SST anomalies covered only the eastern Indonesian sea during El Niño Modoki years. Strong cold SST anomalies during El Niño years led to stronger low-level wind divergence over the Maritime Continent compared with that during El Niño Modoki years. In addition, the Walker circulation during El Niño years revealed a stronger downward motion over the Maritime Continent than that observed during El Niño Modoki years. This stronger downward motion (low-level wind divergence) during El Niño years reduced lower atmospheric water vapor and suppressed atmospheric convection over the Maritime Continent, leading to a significant decrease in rainfall. Similar situations were also observed during El Niño Modoki years but with a much weaker amplitude.
Lagusia micracanthus is one of endemic freshwater fish in Sulawesi. It also has been locally consumed. The purpose of this research was to analyze length-weight relationship and condition factors of L. micracanthus in rivers of the Maros Watershed, South Sulawesi Province . The study was conducted in three rivers, namely Pattunuang River, Bantimurung River and Pucak River. The sampling was conducted monthly from May 2018 to April 2019. Fish samples were collected by an electric shocker (12 V and 9 A). A total of 1850 individual fishes with samples ranging from 31.58-127.79 mm in total length and 0.76-31.07 g in weight. The length-weight relationship was W = 0.00009L2.6241 (r = 0.95) in Pattunuang River, W = 0.0001L2.5237 (r = 0.94) in Bantimurung River, and W = 0.0001L2.4953 (r = 0.92) in Pucak River. The slope (b) values of L. micracanthus obtained a negative allometric growth pattern (b <3). The relative condition factors of L. micracanthus was fluctuated from 0.86 to 1.43 in Pattunuang River, 0.65 to 1.45 in Bantimurung River, and 0.55 to 1.26 in Pucak River. The condition factor increased towards the peak of the spawning season and decreased after the spawning period. The condition factor increased with the increasing of gonad maturity stage up to stage IV and decreased after spawned or stage V.
PT.

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of the competence, motivation and job satisfaction and organizational commitment of lecturer’s performance. Research was conducted in private Islamic university in Makassar. The population in this research is the foundation of the entire faculty as many as 1,264 people using Slovin formula samples were obtained 176 respondents. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Model using AMOS aid 18. The results prove that the competence and no significant negative effect on lecturers commitment. The other variables effect shows that between work motivation and job satisfaction positive and significant impact on organizational commitment. At the end found that the competence, motivation, job satisfaction and organizational commitment has a positive significant effect on the lecturer’s performance.
