Islamic economic system as part of a true Islamic teachings from the beginning must have intended to establish what the objectives pensyariatannya (maqasid al-shari'ah), namely the realization of the benefit to achieve happiness in this world and in the hereafter. The purpose of Islamic economics is welfare or well-being in the field of material possessions or wealth. This research aims to analyze the financial inclusion towards the empowerment of the poor in Medan through financing Sumut Sejahtera of the Bank Sumut Syariah. More specifically the research aims to know 1) the concept of financial inclusion that is implemented as a means of expanding access to financial services of banks and non-banks, 2) the application of the financial inclusion Bank Sumut Syariah. Bank Sumt Syariah have significant role in the economic development of the community through a variety of financing micro, Financing of the Sumut Sejahtera. This financing facility has a lofty goal given to the community pre-prosperous society who have a business but not bankable feasibility so as to be worthy of being a customer of the bank, as well a improve people’s lives and help government programs in the framework of poverty reduction. The applicaton of financial inclusion on the financing Sumut Sejahtera of the Bank Sumut Syariah has been very clear benefits in the economic society prosper who enforce the interests for the public good. It is a basic principle in Islamic economic maqashid al-syariah. For financial inclusion theory maqashid al-syariah is one of the logical effort that must be applied as a consequence of the economic understanding of justice on one side and of religious on the other side.
<em>This study aims to explain the competencies required by Islamic financial institutions today, and how these competencies are fulfilled by Islamic higher education resources, in this case UIN SU Medan. This study also tries to explain how these competencies are obtained both from educational and non-educational processes. The research was conducted with qualitative and quantitative analysis, with the research sample coming from alumni of FEBI UIN SU Medan who work in Islamic financial institutions. Quantitative analysis focuses on justifying user and alumni company perceptions of competence. Qualitative analysis focuses on explaining the relationship between the fulfillment of these competencies in the higher education process. The results show that companies in the Islamic financial institution industry need innovation and critical thinking competencies to be strengthened by Islamic higher education. research by Dharma et al. (2022) who informed the two competencies were also perceived as lacking by other companies. The purpose of financial institutions for competence is in the context of Islamic science, especially in terms of Islamic exploration both from the Qur'an and hadith.</em>
A person's consumption depends on the amount of income earned. If a person's income increases, then consumption will also increase. Conversely, if income decreases, then consumption will also decrease. This study aims to analyze the influence of income, lifestyle, and social environment variables on student consumption behavior with religiosity as a moderating variable. The research method used is a quantitative method using anaccidental sampling technique. The data analysis technique applied is the Moderated Regression Analysis (MRA) test of SPSS 19.0. The results show that income has a positive and significant effect on student consumption behavior by 29.8%, lifestyle has a positive and significant impact on student consumption behavior by 27.6%, and social environment has a positive and significant effect on student consumption behavior by 24.1%. Income, lifestyle, and social environment simultaneously have a positive and significant impact on student consumption behavior with a significance value obtained reaches 0.000 <0.05, and Fcount is greater than Ftable (26.398> 2.47). Religiosity has a significant impact on consumption behavior with a significance value obtained of 0.036 <0.05, and tcount is greater than ttable (2.123> 1.985). Religiosity does not strengthen income, lifestyle, and social environment against consumption behavior. Income, lifestyle, and social environment have a positive effect on student consumption behavior with a moderate level of religiosity. In addition, religiosity affects consumption behavior, therefore it can be concluded that religious knowledge or ideology can influence consumers in choosing goods to consume, based on the value they believe in.
This study aims to determine how the direct influence of deposits, financing and bancassurance on the profits of Islamic banks and the welfare of society and indirect influence or through the intervening variables of profits on the welfare of society and total influence. This type of research is quantitative research. Data collection methods used are documentation methods based on data in the form of monthly financial statements for the period 2014-2018 and per capita income data that has been published. The method of data analysis in this study is by using the path analysis method. The results of the study show that financing significantly affects earnings while third party funds and bancassurance do not directly affect earnings. Deposits and profits of Islamic banks significantly influence directly on public welfare and bancassurance negatively influences people's welfare while financing does not. Financing indirectly significantly influences welfare through profit variables, whereas DPK and bancassurance do not. Business activities of Islamic banks have a role in addition to achieving company profits, also have a positive impact on the welfare of the Indonesian people. Funding and third party funds that generate profits are a determining factor for improving community welfare rather than bancassurance sales. AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengaruh langsung DPK, pembiayaan dan bancassurance terhadap laba bank syariah dan kesejahteraan masyarakat serta pengaruh tidak langsung atau melalui variabel intervening laba terhadap kesejahteraan masyarkat dan pengaruh total. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metode dokumentasi berdasarkan data-data berupa laporan keuangan bulanan periode 2014-2018 dan data pendapatan perkapita yang telah dipublikasikan. Metode analisis data dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan metode analisis jalur. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembiayaan signifikan mempengaruhi laba sedangkan dana pihak ketiga dan bancassurance tidak berpengaruh langsung terhadap laba.DPK dan laba bank syariah signifikan mempengaruhi langsung terhadap kesejahteraan masyarakat dan bancassurance secara negatif mempengaruhi kesejahteraan masyarakat sedangkan pembiayaan tidak.
