In this article, we introduce the notions of maximal products of fuzzy graph structures, regular fuzzy graph structures, and describe these notions with examples and properties. Further, we present the degree and total degree of a vertex in maximal product of fuzzy graph structures and explain some of their properties. Furthermore, we develop a flowchart to show general procedure of application of fuzzy graph structure, regarding identification of most controversial issues among countries.
Fractional analysis, as a rapidly developing area, is a tool to bring new derivatives and integrals into the literature with the effort put forward by many researchers in recent years. The theory of inequalities is a subject of many mathematicians’ work in the last century and has contributed to other areas with its applications. Especially in recent years, these two fields, fractional analysis and inequality theory, have shown a synchronous development. Inequality studies have been carried out by using new operators revealed in the fractional analysis. In this paper, by combining two important concepts of these two areas we obtain new inequalities of Chebyshev–Polya–Szegö type by means of generalized fractional integral operators. Our results are concerned with the integral of the product of two functions and the product of two integrals. They improve the results in the paper (J. Math. Inequal. 10(2):491–504, 2016).
This paper proposes an approach to analyze the dynamic stability and develop trajectory-tracking controllers for flapping-wing micro air vehicle (FWMAV). A multibody dynamics simulation framework coupled with a modified quasi-steady aerodynamic model was implemented for stability analysis, which was appended with flight control block for accomplishing various flight objectives. A gradient-based trim search algorithm was employed to obtain the trim conditions by solving the fully coupled nonlinear equations of motion at various flight speeds. Eigenmode analysis showed instability that grew with the flight speed in longitudinal dynamics. Using the trim conditions, we linearized dynamic equations of FWMAV to obtain the optimal gain matrices for various flight speeds using the linear-quadratic regulator (LQR) technique. The gain matrices from each of the linearized equations were used for gain scheduling with respect to forward flight speed. The reference tracking augmented LQR control was implemented to achieve transition flight tracking that involves hovering, acceleration, and deceleration phases. The control parameters were updated once in a wingbeat cycle and were changed smoothly to avoid any discontinuities during simulations. Moreover, trajectories tracking control was achieved successfully using a dual loop control approach. Control simulations showed that the proposed controllers worked effectively for this fairly nonlinear multibody system.
Background: The dynamics of the osteoporotic bone turnover is studied in this paper with the aid of stability analysis of the associated mathematical model. Osteoporosis, which is a common bone disorder, is studied in this papper in detail with an emphasis on the relative threshold values. We examine the expository signaling among the bone cells named osteoclast and osteoblast. Main functioning of osteoblasts is bone formation, whereas osteoclasts are bone removal cells. Methods: Mathematical framework for osteoporotic bone turnover comprising of the communication between osteoclasts and osteoblasts has been presented to exhibit the conditions for stability in bone turnover. Results: The percentage ratios of the population of osteoblasts/osteoclasts have been determined via numerical simulations. The remedial upshots of targeting osteoporotic cells participating in such process are examined. Conclusions: From our analysis we have conclude that the role of external agents in treating the diseased bone can be better interpreted with the aid of a theoretical model.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
