The aim of this study is to determine Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) Competencies of teacher candidates in Turkish Teaching department of Mevlana (Rumi) University and the effect of Instructional Technology and Material Design (ITMD) Course on TPACK. The study is a study of quantitative type and single-group pretest-posttest experimental design has been used. The study has been conducted in the spring semester of 2013/2014 academic year, candidates who are studying in 2nd class of Turkish teaching department in Education Faculty of Mevlana (Rumi) University. In this study, Sahin (2011)'s Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) Survey has been used. The survey is a 5 point likert type survey and it has 47 items in total. This survey has been applied as pre-test in the classroom to the students who participated in the study. After a period of 10 weeks, the same survey has been applied again to the same students as post-test and thus, pre-test/posttest data has been obtained for the study. According to the findings of the study, TPACK levels of Turkish teacher candidates who participated in the study have been differentiated significantly in terms of all the subscales of the survey. In the light of this study, it can be said that TPACK model plays a leading role on the subject of teachers' needs about technology, pedagogy and content in order to ensure professional development of teachers.
Bu araştırmayla okullardaki dağıtımcı liderlik davranışına yönelik öğretmen görüşlerinin değerlendirmesi amaçlanmaktadır. Nitel araştırma yöntemi bağlamında oluşturulan bu araştırmada, desen olarak durum çalışması kullanılmıştır. Bu araştırmanın katılımcılarını 2016-2017 akademik döneminde Erzurum ili merkez ilçelerinde görev yapan 15 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Bu araştırma kapsamında kullanılan veri toplama aracı araştırmacılar tarafından geliştirilmiştir. Toplam 3 sorudan oluşan bu veri toplama aracı yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme formu olarak hazırlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda elde edilen bulgular sırasıyla tek bir eğitim yöneticisinin kuruma getirdiği olumsuz yönler, otantik liderliğin öğretmen çıktılarına etkisi ve son olarak öğretmenlerin iş dağılımı algısıdır. Araştırmanın sonucu olarak öğretmenlerin dağıtımcı liderlik davranışına ilişkin görüşlerinin olumlu olduğu söylenebilir.
The aim of this research is to determine primary school teachers’ expectations from instructional leaders during the distance education period. In this study, which was formed in the context of qualitative research method, the case study was used. The participants of this study consist of 11 teachers who worked in primary schools during the 2020-2021 academic term. This data collection tool consisting of 5 questions was prepared as a semi-structured interview form. As a result of the research, the themes of vision, mission, education programs, supervision, school culture and professional development were found, and sub-themes formed depending on these themes were specified. The aim of this research is to reveal the cognitive constructs of university students regarding their ideal peer qualities. As the research has both qualitative and quantitative dimensions, the study was carried out in accordance with the exploratory sequential design, which is a type of mixed method. The research was conducted with 24 university students studying at different faculties of Atatürk University in the fall semester of the 2020-2021 academic year. The study group was formed in accordance with the maximum diversity principle with the criterion sampling method, which is one of the purposeful sampling methods. The repertory grid technique was used in this study. The repertoire grid form applied to the participants was analyzed and 240 cognitive constructs related to ideal peer qualities were produced by the participants. Based on 240 cognitive constructs, the main construct groups are listed as humanistic values, ethical attitudes and behaviors, discipline/rationalism, communication skills, social skills, extroversion, and leadership according to qualified number.
