This study aimed to determine teacher professional development, job satisfaction and teaching performance and to determine the influence of teacher professional development and teacher satisfaction on teaching performance. The research method used was a quantitative method with descriptive correlational techniques. Data collection techniques conducted in this study was a questionnaire. Respondents in this study were 60 junior high school teachers in Gowa Regency. The data analysis technique used product moment and regression analysis which was analyzed using the SPSS program. The results showed that teacher professional development and job satisfaction had a positive and significant influence on teacher performance. The implication of this research was to improve teacher performance through teacher professional development by providing training and increasing job satisfaction through leadership.
The primary aim of this study is to discover how quality improvement management in primary school, in terms of students, educators, headmasters, curriculum, learning process, and infrastructures, is implemented. The present study employs qualitative research method, which is descriptive, using analysis, referring to data, and utilizing existing theories as supporting materials. The primary data source in a qualitative study is the informant. Data is collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that education quality improvement management in a primary school in West Java, Indonesia is quite good. However, there are some aspects that need to be improved to achieve high quality education, particularly the facilities and infrastructure aspect.
This article aims to explain the leadership capacities that a school principal needs to improve the quality of learning, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is because of that The Covid-19 virus that is currently globalizing does not only have an impact on human health. The time of the Covid 19 pandemic which is currently shaking the world has also had an impact on every other area of life. The education sector is not immune from this impact. The virus that is fast spreading requires everyone to keep a distance, many jobs are closed by working from home. In the field of education, Covid 19, which has rocked so badly, requires that education be held by implementing online learning using various media. This article is an analysis of phenomena that occur based on relevant theories. The method used is a theoretical review. The results of the analysis of several theories concluded that the principal is the figure most responsible for maintaining and improving the quality of education in schools. In the midst of a pandemic, school principals have an increasing responsibility so that they can continue to carry out quality educational practices. During this period, the leadership capacity of school principals is needed so that they are still able to manage their educational institutions and the quality of education is maintained amid the pandemic. In this case, the principal must be able to formulate strategic steps, be able to apply a situational leadership style, be able to apply crisis / emergency leadership, be able to make decisions responsively.
School websites generally have a function as an information medium and have a function as a school administration tool. As a function of information media, the web can become a medium of communication, become a medium of interaction and become a medium of collaboration among stakeholders. Whereas as an administrative function, the web can be used for portal academic administration systems to store data, handle academic transactions and provide academic reports. Some literature shows the correlation between industry 4.0 and information technology, especially in education, which is known as the evolution of the educational platform namely education 1.0, education 2.0., education 3.0, and education 4.0. This paper will discuss the readiness of schools in Ogan Ilir South Sumatra in industry 4.0 which can be observed from the school's web profile. The research was conducted by examining the structure of the school web and retrieving data related to web performance both technically and usability. Sample research was taken from several high school websites, both public and private schools. The results of this study will raise an analysis gap regarding the readiness of Schools in Ogan Ilir in entering industry 4.0 seen from the school's web profile.
This research aims to identify the implementation of academic service quality in Higher Education in Indonesia. The academic service is a core product of the Higher Education so positively perceived academic service quality will also lead to positive image of the Higher Education. However, inconsistency of academic service process gives negative effects on academic service image which is offered by the Higher Education. Based on this issue, the researchers take a descriptive research by a survey method to the students in Higher Education in Indonesia. Results of the research that are seen from reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy and tangible dimensions show various results. The implication of this research is that Higher Education can have ability to improve its academic service through more consistent, flexible and proper academic service paths to the students' needs.
