PurposeThis study aims to propose a novel research model to test the nexus between green human resource management processes, strategic excellence and the sustainability of educational institutions in Iraqi academic settings.Design/methodology/approachThis examination in Iraqi higher education is finalised across three key stages: determining the knowledge gaps, reviewing the literature and building the hypothesised conceptual model. A case study complemented by a quantitative methodology using Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) and Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) was performed.FindingsGreen human resource management processes significantly impact the sustainability of Iraqi educational institutions through their strategic excellence.Originality/valueThis research provides new insights into green human resource management processes, strategic excellence and the sustainability of educational institutions in emerging economies such as Iraq.
Purpose: This research is to identify the most important challenges for the local investment commissions and to develop solutions and proposals to encourage local and foreign investment in local governments in Iraq (the Iraqi provinces are irregular in the region). Theoretical Framework: This research suggests a conceptual framework for the local investment commissions in order to solve their problems, the most important of which was to identify the most critical challenges which are facing the Baghdad Investment Commission BIC and how to overcome them. Design/The methodology approach: Research involved a mixed-methods approach through two stages. During the first stage, the researcher gathered quantitative data from all investment projects that obtained Baghdad investment commission BIC from 2015 to 2021 were 168 projects. The second stage gathered qualitative data to explore the survey results more deeply by conducting individual interviews with a sub-sample of 12, 6 interviewees are from BIC and 6 interviewees are from investment organisations. Findings: The research showed several important results represented by legal and administrative challenges. Also, weak incentives and guarantees provided by The National Investment Low NIL No13 of 2006 and its amendments in 2010. The practical and social implications: This research will enable the local investment commissions how to deal with their challenges and then improve their provided services for both investors (foreign and local), particularly in Baghdad province, Iraq. The originality of research: This article provided a significant topic for businessmen and governments on international and local levels, also there is no previous research that has thoroughly searched the reality of local investment in Iraq and prospects for its development.
Purpose: As managers can lead a set of ways to improve internal communication in public organizations, and leadership can cultivate a common understanding of goals within the organization and share the vision in preparation for its way to better performance, the purpose of the research is to assess the type and strength of the relationship between internal communication and different forms of leadership. Theoretical framework: The study demonstrates how leaders in public organizations improve internal communication, related to employees' perceptions of public organizations' routines and performance. Design/methodology/approach: The study uses the ordinary least squares (OLS) and applied multiple regression A sample of 130 educational staff members from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research was selected using the descriptive analytical approach. Findings: A set of statistical techniques were utilized to analyze the data and compile the findings.The findings demonstrate that internal communication and verbal rewards have a relationship that is consistent with both transformational leadership and transactional leadership. Research, Practical & Social implications: The study demonstrates how leaders in public organizations improve internal communication, educational staff members from the Ministry of Higher Education. The effectiveness of this communication is influenced by the nature of the relationship and the leader's symbolism and attitudes toward them. Originality/value: The findings suggest several consequences for the fields of Management and Strategic. have hadincluding the public organizations, numerous difficulties that this study aids in resolving. There are advantages and disadvantages to every leadership style, and leaders typically use direct and indirect means of communication with subordinates.
he current research aims to determine the extent of interest of the Oil Products Distribution Company (OPDC) and its various departments in the process of strategic foresight (SF), and the extent of interest that is reflected in the achievement of strategic leadership (SE). As well as knowing the nature of the relationship and the impact on the company. To achieve the objectives of the research, one main hypothesis was formulated, and three sub-hypotheses emerged from it. As the research relied on an analytical survey approach, the research targeted the workers within this company, And he reached a set of results, based on which a number of conclusions were formulated. The research community consisted of (185) individuals, and (160) questionnaires were distributed to them, (153) of which were retrieved, and the number of good people reached (141). The current research indicates that there is a direct relationship and a positive effect of strategic foresight in strategic leadership, and the sub-variable (entrepreneurial mentality) had the highest influence in strategic leadership, as this research proved the existence of an influence relationship and the correlation between strategic foresight and strategic leadership
