Abstract:The aim of this study was to deliver information about the features of fuel cells. It cover analysis of theory and experiment done using a set of tool called Hydro Genius Teach. The experiment is about investigating the characteristic curve of a fuel cell from the processes of renewable energy. Others objectives of this study were to analyze current usage of renewable energy in the world and to do analysis on features of fuel cell as one of ways in renewable energy.
Power conversion from solar thermal energy to electrical energy is still very cost-intensive. Serious effort has to be given in the development of the concentrator or heliostat structure expenditure which contributing the most expensive component in a central receiver solar power plant. With current development to find alternatives and lower down the capital, a new mode of sun tracking has been developed and feasibility tested. As it applies a single stage collector replacing conventional double stages structure, the new technique has significantly benefits use in high temperature and high concentration solar energy applications. Meanwhile, the stationary or fixed target (receiver) offers more convenient working environment for various applications. Large and heavy solar powered Stirling Engine could be placed at the stationary location. On the other advantage offers by the new technique, the optical alignment was reasonably easier and less time consuming
Wind energy is one of the non-conventional forms of energy and it is available in affluence. It is also claimed that the wind power is pollution-free, replacement of fossil fuel and that its source of energy is freely available. Electricity can be generated with the help of a wind turbine generator. In this paper, a comprehensive study on contemporary portable wind energy harvesters has been conducted. The different existing performance such as reliability evaluation models, various problems related to structure wind turbine components (blade, gearbox, generator and transformer) and grid for wind energy system have been discussed. At the same time, experimental analysis is focused on behaviour, especially characteristics of impact wind energy, performance as lots of advanced research work has already been done or going on the harnessing of natural wind energy. In this review paper, a different model wind turbine has been studied from previous testing purpose presented. This review aim of utilizing this wind energy in a most effective manner to get the maximum electric output, and therefore the government can think over implementing the suitable type of wind turbine configuration selected highway at low cost as our installation site taking the advantage of the moving vehicles on both sides of the road.
Fuel has become one of the vital energy in our life and reserves on the earth is lessened years by years. However, still wind that is renewable resource which is clean energy that can replaced a fuel. In this paper, novel idea to monitor the environmental condition and working conditions are characterized by using the small three blade Savonius wind turbines with Internet of Things (IoT) is proposed. Therefore, in terms of characterization, controlling and monitoring the status of wind turbine systems are recommended from anywhere in the world using Internet of Things (IoT) technology. In all repair work, this system is declared with IoT application and ESP 8266 to monitor, capture and diagnose problems in wind turbine. This allows the user to have a remote control mechanism remotely via secure internet web connection. This system helps users control energy sources, manually and remotely using smartphones or personal computers. This work is related to the transmission of data between two units in a timely and fast time without any disturbance. Wind turbine performance has a number of factors which determine its reliability. Next, a system for analyzing the data resulting from the rotation of the wind turbine from a distance is needed so that the study can take place at any time. The parameters that been measured using ESP8266 is voltage, current, power and wind speed. When turbine generate electric, it will display the output by thinkspeak. Various challenges, material of wind turbine and methods for condition monitoring were discussed and the results were analyzed with statistical measures and compared with its standard values.
For the past few years, great efforts have been done in improving the tracking accuracy of a newly proposed rotation-elevation tracking mode heliostat. A special simulation program has been developed to systematically analyze the image movement and to find out the error of the parameters. In the simulation program, ray-tracing method was applied to work out the central point position of the master mirror image on the target plane during the primary tracking. From the experiment, less than 5cm of tracking error was achieved with the help of the simulation program. We discussed the error analysis of the two prototypes of so called Non-Imaging Focusing Heliostat (NIFH) in Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) which has greatly reduced the optical alignment process and resulting more precise result
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
