Objectives: We would like to conduct retrospective study on patients who have had symptoms of spinal stenosis and whose causes were analyzed through imaging to analyze the causes in terms of diagnostic radiology. Methods: We analyzed the cause of spinal stenosis through imaging tests of patients visiting for spinal stenosis. Results: We could observe various cases caused by one of the following: disc herniation, typical stenosis with thickened yellow ligament, spondylolisthesis, disc surgery, cyst, OPLL, calcification of bulged disc, intrinsic narrowing of the spinal canal and bony spur.
Conclusion:We led to the conclusion that medical imaging is essential for diagnosis and treatment of patients in the oriental clinic, as it is hard to expect significant improvements and reversible changes in stenosis with various causes, and as such stenosis may show different prognosis compared to that of general stenosis.
