Effect of physico-chemical factors on bacteriophages Xanthomonas phage XpN1, Pseudomonas phage PcN1 and Dickeya phage DdN1 was studied. It was found that at temperatures from 4 to 30 °С and pH 5–7 there is no significant decline of number of viable phage particles. In addition, bacteriophages are resistant to NaCl
in concentration from 0,01 to 1 М i n e nvironment, to e thanol i n c oncentration 1:1000 and chloroform in concentration 1:10, 1:100 and 1:1000.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
