In relation to development of container transportations the demand on the specialized rolling stock best adjusted for transportation of containers is sharply increased. The article is devoted to the review of flat cars for transportation of containers offered by domestic producers. A comparative description of 80-feet flat cars is presented. The joined flat cars widely used in North America andWestern Europe, as well as their analogues developed by the enterprises ofUkraine and Russia, are also considered.
The work is devoted to experimental researches of pre-production model of swing-joint platform. An amount and order of conducting the preliminary tests, combinations of the test loadings are considered. The locations of setting the sensors as well as the locations of registered maximum equivalent tensions are selected. The convergence of results of tests with the results of theoretical calculations is analyzed.
The article is devoted the comparative analysis of charges for the complete life cycle of 80-foot carriageplatform and carriage-platform of sectional type on the example of two models of carriages-platforms for the containers produced by JSC “Azovmash”. The indexes of comparative efficiency are examined from a viewpoint of company-operator of railway freight transportations – a potential proprietor of carriages-platforms.
