The modernization of the technological process in the petrochemical industry has reduced the degree of influence of adverse factors of the production environment, but not eliminated the adverse impact of industrial environmental factors on the health ofworkers. Factors failed to meet hygienic standards in the workplace of operators were shown to be are electromagnetic radiation, chemicals (ammonium, nitrogen dioxide), industrial lighting. In addition operators ’ work is characterized by high intensity of the labor process. Therewithal the labor of operators is characterized by the high intensity of the working process. For the operators ofpetroleum industry there is typical the risk from the combined exposure of the complex of chemical substances and noise, this risk proves both to be both potentially dangerous and increase in dependence on doses offactors and length of service. The level of individual professional risk in 32% of the operators is high; risk group for the profession is defined as high. In most cases, in operators of both small and long experience there was established the decline in the functional state of the central nervous system, the predominance of sympathetic tone in the regulation of adaptive processes, reduced reactivity of the autonomic nervous system and the more the length of service among operators the more the number of cases with poor adaptation and its breakdown.
Under real conditions adolescents are influenced by a complex of environmental factors that determine the relevance of the search for quantitative indices of the health status under the action of environmental factors. The article shows that in conditions of complex influence of environmental factors in adolescents in the state of health, deviations are noted at the level of changes in physiological status characterized by disorganization of the functioning of the central nervous, cardiovascular and respiratory systems, the inter-systemic connections of which increase with the elevating dose of factors. On the basis of the mathematical analysis, an integral index of physiological status was determined - the index of physiological imbalance (IFD), which in adolescents subjected to a high anthropogenic load was by 1.7 times higher than in adolescents living in an area where the anthropogenic load was 1.4 times lower and correspondingly was 2.85 units and 1.60 units, which indicated to the tension of the processes of adaptation of the organism to a complex of environmental factors on the basis of the gradation scale of adaptation reactions developed by the authors, depending on the quantitative characteristics of the index of physiological imbalance.
Introduction. Changes in the body of children and adolescents aimed at adapting to environmental factors are determined by genetic polymorphism in xenobiotic biotransformation genes, determining the degree of susceptibility of the child’s body to pollutants, which is the basis of modern personalized preventive medicine when managing risks to the health of the child population under the influence of environmental factors. Material and methods. Trace elements, including heavy metals, lead and cadmium, were determined in the hair of 256 practically healthy teenagers by atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Depending on the level of content of the latter, two groups of adolescents were formed to determine six genes of the cytochrome P-450 family. Group 1 consisted of adolescents whose cadmium lead content exceeded the average Russian indices. The second group included adolescents whose heavy metals were above the level of average Russian standards. Results. Studies have shown that in adolescents of the 1st group, compared with the data of adolescents of the 2nd group, an increase in the number of carriers of two mutant alleles at the locus rs 1048943 (gene CYP1A1) is 3.08 times, rs 464621 (gene CYP1A1) is 1. 8 times; locus rs 2069522 (CYP1A2 gene) 3.63 times; locus rs 1799853 (CYP2C9 * 2 gene) 4.5 times; locus rs 1057910 (gene CYP2C9 * 3) 3.8 times and locus rs 2279343 (gene CYP2B6) 4.25 times. Moreover, carriers of two normal alleles in adolescents of the first group at the locus rs 1048943 (gene CYP1A1) were 5.14 times; locus rs 2279343 (CYP2B6 gene) was 6.5 fold less than among adolescents of the 2nd group; and at the locus rs 464621 (gene CYP1A1), rs 2069522 (gene CYP1A2), rs 1799853 (gene CYP2C9 * 2), rs 1057910 (gene CYP2C9 * 3) there were no carriers of normal homozygotes. Conclusion. Group 1 adolescents with heavy metal contamination of the body are carriers significantly in a greater number of pathological mutations in the genes of the cytochrome P-450 detoxification system in comparison with data from group 2 adolescents.
The article shows that the symptomatic pattern of emotional burnout syndrome in dentists of surgeons, therapists and orthopedists was characterized by the formation of 2 symptoms «Self-dissatisfaction» and «Emotional deficiency» and formation of 1 symptom among surgeons «Emotional moral disorientation «to 2 symptoms among orthopedists «Expansion of the sphere of saving emotions», «Inadequate emotional response». With the increase in the length of service among dentists, the expression of 3 symptoms among orthopedists up to 6 symptoms among the surgeons of the syndrome of emotional burnout increases 1.5–3 times.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
