The article describes the use of BYOD technology (Bring Your Own Device) in educational practice using the Lecture Racing mobile application. This application provides feedback between the teacher and students both in the classroom and during distance learning, contributes to the visualization of educational material and, in general, the informatization of the educational process. The purpose of the study is to conduct a theoretical analysis of the current state and prospects for the development of BYOD technology in Russia and abroad, and to test the benefits of using this technology in educational practice using the specific mobile application. During the study, an analysis of scientific, theoretical and practical literature on BYOD technology was carried out. In the process of experimental work, test tasks were the instrument of measuring knowledge and skills of students. As a result of a theoretical analysis and study of the practical possibilities of using BYOD technology (using the Lecture Racing mobile application as an example), it was found that this technology allows you to visualize information that is displayed in real time on the screen of each student's mobile device, regardless of its location. This technology also allows both the student and the teacher to quickly work with information, provide feedback, receive an independent assessment (since the assessment is set automatically), saves time, and develops the information culture of students.
The article is devoted to the currently topical topic of using the electronic library system by means of creating a student's personal account – a personal electronic library. The problem of using information technologies to provide students with high-quality educational information is currently coming to the fore due to the emergence of a large flow of information and the lack of criteria for its selection among students. The purpose of the publication is to acquaint readers with the results of work on the development of a personal electronic library of a university student, to provide students with educational materials in full, as well as with the results of a study of the effectiveness of using a personal account in the process of teaching students. To achieve this goal, the authors carried out experimental work, consisting of three modules: basic, theoretical and intellectual, as well as experimental work to establish the influence of the developed personal electronic library on the level of educational motivation of students, as well as its relationship with academic performance. The results of the study show that the use of a personal electronic library increases the educational motivation of students to study the subject, and also positively affects the academic performance of students, improving the quality of education. The practical significance of the work lies in the creation of a student's personal electronic library based on the electronic library system of the RSAU-Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K. A. Timiryazeva, which can be used in teaching university students.
Currently, one can observe active use of electronic resources by teachers at various teaching stages, on all levels of basic education. I n this work, the authors review an electronic library available on the «Moscow Electronic School» website. The article reveals the potential of using electronic network resources of the Moscow Electronic School project for the self-development of students, provides examples of the use of such resources in the educational process, gives a brief overview of scientific literature on this topic, describes the results of experience with the electronic library. It all allows the authors to talk about the efficiency of using such resources, both in Russia and abroad, namely, to state an increase in the level of activity and the quality of educational material assimilation. Electronic libraries are of great importance to the interactive learning process. As another result of the study, the authors note an increase in the level of educational motivation. Thus, we can say that the resources of modern electronic libraries offer a significant potential for the development of necessary skills, abilities and knowledge in students.
