We used both plastic surgery and health disparities keywords to identify relevant articles. We created a comprehensive list of health disparities terms using the NIH MEDLINE/PubMed Health Disparities and Minority Health search strategy. We added words that relate to the built environment to capture articles that discuss neighborhood and community-based disparities.
