Emotional creativity is considered as an internal resource of person's activity and as a psychological means of successful interaction as the mechanism of a development origin and functioning of communicative competence. The interrelation of emotional creativity indicators and styles of communication of students is investigated. The participants of the research are 100 senior students of Moscow and Nizhny Novgorod universities. Positive connections of emotional creativity and such indicators of communicative competence as priority orientation on the achievement of main objectives of communication, abilities to understand and differentiate the experience, to distinguish emotions of partners in communication, and also to react emotionally in non-standard way in difficult communicative situations are revealed. Negative correlation connection is established with such indicators as domination, conservatism, conformality characterizing a personality as non-confrontational, democratic in behaviour, independent. Development of emotional creativity is one of the problems of improvement of quality of modern university education. The tasks of formation of students' qualities of the emotional and creative personality and the conditions of emotionally attractive learning through the usage of substantially semantic and active methods of training based on interaction, reflection, creativity are formulated on the basis of the received results.
The purpose: to study to evaluate the effect of ortokeratology lenses (OK-lenses) on the state of the ocular surface, depending on the duration of their wearing by adolescents with myopia. Patients and methods. Under control were 212 patients with myopia aged 12 to 16 years, who used OK-lenses “Paragon CRT100” (USA) for a long time (3–5 years). Examination, in addition to standard ophthalmological methods, included evaluation of complaints using the OSDI questionnaire/scale, Schirmer, Norn tests and biomicroscopy with staining of the cornea with fluorescein before and during wearing OK-lenses. Patients with keratopathy additionally underwent scanning confocal microscopy of the cornea using ConfoSkan-4 (Nidek, Japan); bacteriological examination of scraping from the cornea. Results. Clinical and functional signs of dry eye syndrome (SDE) in patients before and after prolonged use of OK therapy are not diagnosed. In 12 (5.6 %) teenagers with non-standard values of corneal curvature, signs of late epitheliopathy were revealed against the background of the absence of complaints. Patients were divided into 2 subgroups depending on the choice of antimicrobial eye drops in addition to keratoprotectors. The results of treatment in both subgroups were the same, but the use of fluoroquinolones was accompanied by an adverse development of SDE. Conclusion. In general, long-term OK therapy of myopia in adolescents is safe. The compulsory condition is an adequate prescription and observance of the wearing and lens care rules. It does not have a significant adverse effect on the clinical and functional state of the ocular surface, including the cornea. The frequency of late epitheliopathies with long-term (3–5 years) wearing OK lenses is 5.6 %, and the severity of the manifestation is characterized mainly by a mild degree. Patients with extreme corneal curvature are in a high-risk group for the development of late corneal complications during the use of OK therapy. If late epitheliopathies are detected while wearing OK lenses, it is necessary to cancel their use and to prevent the development of infectious keratitis, in addition to keratoprotectors, you can add the modern antimicrobial drug with antiseptic effect, for example, Vitabact, as the original, without a preservative, approved medicine for use in children. The use of fluoroquinolone drugs with virtually aseptic inflammation of the cornea is unjustified.
AIM: To estimate the role of visual illusions in the diagnosis of aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity (APROP) using a pediatric retinal camera. MATERIAL AND METHODS: A retrospective analysis of images of the fundus structures obtained using a pediatric retinal camera was carried out in 31 children diagnosed with APROP. The children were treated at St. Petersburgs Childrens Hospital N17 of St. Nicholas from January 2011 to December 2018. Based on the analysis of digital colored images of the fundus, the diagnosis of ARN was confirmed in 18 children (58%), and in the remaining 42% of cases (13 children), the diagnosis was revised from APROP to classic ROP (stage 3, with signs of plus disease, zones I or II). Preterm infants with classic ROP were excluded from the study group. RESULTS: A total of 14 out of 18 (78%) children with APROP were initially diagnosed with manifestations of classical ROP. Analysis of colored images obtained with a retinal camera showed that all of them manifested Machs bands, which created the effect of a demarcation line or a demarcation ridge at the border of light and dark areas. Although they were manifestations of APROP, these illusions were the reason for the diagnosis of classical ROP along with the designation of stages. The effect of Mach band illusion was neutralized by the study of colored photographs on the monitor screen under high magnification. CONCLUSION: Visual illusions create difficulties in the timely diagnosis of APROP during the investigation with a retinal camera. They may influence the treatment of patients and lead to poor outcomes of this most severe form of ROP, including the development of retinal detachment and visual impairment in children.
