The Covid 19 pandemic has had many impacts on various sectors of human life. The education sector is also feeling the effects of the pandemic that hit almost all parts of the world. Learning that initially takes place in the classroom turns into online learning. This article was written using a literature study approach. The data obtained comes from similar articles from various sources in national journals. The use of discovery learning models in online learning can be done in many ways. For example: the teacher gives a picture of the problem to the student to be examined comprehensively. After students can find and think deeply about the material with the attachment of discovery learning. Of course, the material conveyed through the picture must be creative in order to match the character of students' curiosity. In addition, the delivery of material can be delivered by utilizing the LMS (Learning Management System) platform, such as: edmodo, schoology, google classroom and so on. This learning design aims to make students have an attitude of resilience to the covid 19 pandemic that is sweeping around the world today.
Abstract. The purpose of this study was to test the fit model of the emotional intelligence model as a mediator variable the influence of self-compassion on the marital adjustment of women with couples from different cultures. The dynamics that occur in women who have intercultural partners are in the spotlight in terms of their ability to adjust in marriage, in order to achieve a sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah marriage. This study uses a causal relationship design with a quantitative approach. The study participants were 220 women who have partners from different cultures. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. The measuring instrument used is a modification of the Marital Adjustment Questionaire (MAQ), Self Compassion Scale (SCS) and Assesing Emotional Scale (AES). Testing the validity of the measuring instrument used the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) technique and the data analysis technique used the Structural Equotion Model (SEM). The results showed that the model fit with data. The direct effect of self compassion on the marital adjustment of married women for different cultures is -0.17. Meanwhile, the indirect effect of self compassion on the marital adjustment of married women with different cultures through emotional intelligence is 0.209. This shows that emotional intelligence acts as a mediator variable for the influence between self-compassion and marital adjustments on women’s with couples from different cultures. This research recommends the importance of this model as a reference for making special pre-marital training programs for married couples with different cultures, by prioritizing the role of emotional intelligence. Dinamika yang terjadi pada wanita yang memiliki pasangan beda budaya menjadi sorotan dalam hal kemampuan untuk menyesuaikan dalam pernikahan, guna tercapainya pernikahan yang sakinah mawaddah wa rahmah. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain causal relationship dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Partisipan penelitian sebanyak 220 wanita yang memiliki pasangan beda budaya. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling. Alat ukur yang digunakan adalah modifikasi dari Marital Adjustment Questionaire (MAQ), Self Compassion Scale (SCS) dan Assesing Emotional Scale (AES). Hal ini menunjukan bahwa emotional intelligence berperan sebagai mediator variabel pengaruh antara self compassion terhadap marital adjustment wanita dengan pasangan beda budaya. Riset ini merekomendasikan pentingnya model ini untuk menjadi acuan bagi pembuatan program pelatihan pranikah khusus bagi pasangan menikah beda budaya, dengan mengutamakan peran emotional intelligence.
Applying the main principles of life is important to support the daily life of transmigrant students. As explained by Rokeach (in Sauter, 1984), values are rules and principles which learned to help choose life alternatives, resolve conflicts and make decisions. Related to the concept of value, this study used the basic concepts of Schwartz (2005). The purpose of this research is to test the construct validity of the modified Schwartz Value Survey (SVS) measuring instrument by adjusting the conditions of research respondents. This instrument is used to measure the values of transmigrant students in living their lives and learning processes. Dimensions of this instrument are multidimensional. There are 10 dimensions used in the basic value variable, namely self-direction, stimulation, hedonism, achievement, power, security, conformity, tradition, benevolence, and universalism with a total of 50 items. This study involved 251 participants, with an age range between 19-21 years. Participants in this study were active students of UIN SyarifHidayatullah Jakarta from outside the Greater Jakarta area (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi) who currently live in boarding houses, dormitories or rented houses. The factor analysis method used in this study is Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) with a Lisrel 8.70 program. The test results prove that all subscales fit measure one factor and there are 50 valid items. And these results showed that all of aspect in basic value, which consists of 10 aspects that are multidimensional. CFA test results show that all 10 aspects of basic value are fit with the data.AbstrakUntuk menjalani proses kehidupan dan belajar pada mahasiswa merantau, maka perlu hendaknya mengaplikasikan prinsip-prinsip utama yang ada di dalam diri. Adapun dimensi yang digunakan pada variabel basic value ini adalah sebanyak 10 dimensi, yaitu self direction, stimulation, hedonism, achievement, power, security, comformity, tradition, benevolence, dan universalism dengan jumlah total aitem sebanyak 53 aitem. Penelitian ini melibatkan 251 partisipan, yakni sebanyak 123 (49%) partisipan laki-laki dan 128 (51%) partisipan perempuan, dengan rentang usia antara 19-21 tahun. Partisipan penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa aktif UIN Jakarta yang berasal dari luar daerah Jabodetabek, yang saat ini tinggal di kostan, asrama atau rumah kontrakan. Metode analisis faktor yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) dengan program lisrel 8.70. Hasil pengujian membuktikan bahwa seluruh subskala fit (sesuai) mengukur model satu faktor dan terdapat 50 aitem yang valid. Hasil ini menunjukkan bahwa seluruh aspek dalam basic value yang terdiri dari 10 aspek adalah multideimensional. Test CFA menghasilkan 10 aspek basic value yang fit dengan data.
The purpose of this study was to obtain a discipline technique model and the ability of mothers to give orders after attending traditional game training mediated by children's verbal abilities and on the level of adherence in children with down syndrome in Indonesia. The method used in this study is a causal relationship. Respondents in this study were children with Down syndrome with their mothers. The research measuring instrument uses a scale of discipline techniques, the scale of compliance and maternal ability questionnaire. The verbal ability is measured through Weschler Preschool Primary Scale Intelligence, subtest picture naming and receptive vocabulary Data analysis techniques use path analysis techniques. The number of respondents was 81 pairs of mothers and children with Down syndrome. Based on the results of the study obtained a discipline technique model and the ability of the mother after attending the seminar the benefits of traditional games affect the self-adherence of children with Down syndrome, which is mediated by children's verbal abilities are fit with empirical data.
