The synergism caused by of six -diketones on the extraction of gallium(III) with di(2-ethylhexyl)phosphoric acid (D2EHPA or HA) from weak acidic solution into heptane and supercritical carbon dioxide (SC-CO 2 ) was investigated. Thenoyltrifluoroacetone (Htta), benzoylacetone (Hbza), and Htta, namely GaA 2 (tta)·HA and GaA 2 (tta)·2HA. This synergistic effect also occurred in SC-CO 2 extraction. However, the degree of synergism in the SC-CO 2 system is smaller than that in the heptane system.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
