Background: Surgical mortality data are collected routinely in high-income countries, yet virtually no low-or middle-income countries have outcome surveillance in place. The aim was prospectively to collect worldwide mortality data following emergency abdominal surgery, comparing findings across countries with a low, middle or high Human Development Index (HDI).Methods: This was a prospective, multicentre, cohort study. Self-selected hospitals performing emergency surgery submitted prespecified data for consecutive patients from at least one 2-week interval during July to December 2014. Postoperative mortality was analysed by hierarchical multivariable logistic regression.
Kendala proses belajar mengajar di SMA Negeri 1 Suhaid yaitu; siswa masih merasa kurang tertarik dengan penyajian materi yang disampaikan karena media yang selama ini digunakan hanya power point, buku paket, dan bersifat abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan media interaktif yang dilengkapi dengan LKS dan menganalisis bagaimana kelayakan media interaktif virus menurut ahli materi serta ahli media. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode research and development dengan desain pengembangan model Hannafin & Peck model. Analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan konsep Miles dan Hubermen, menggunakan data reduction, data display, dan conclusion. Hasil penilaian media interaktif virus yang dikembangkan memperoleh skor sebesar 84,44 oleh pakar media dan 88,89 oleh pakar materi dan termasuk dalam kriteria sangat layak untuk digunakan. LKS berdasarkan penilaian pakar materi mendapatkan nilai persentase sebesar 82,89% dan terkategorikan layak. Berdasarkan hasil filed test dapat disimpulkan bahwa media interaktif dan lembar kerja siswa dapat membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar.Kata kunci: Media pembelajaran interaktif, lembar kerja siswa, virus The development of interactive learning media and student worksheets on virus materials. Based on observations and interviews with teachers at SMA Negeri 1 Suhaid, it is believed there are still many problems that teachers and students face in Teaching and Learning Activities on viral material namely; Students still feel less interested in the presentation material presented because the media which has so far only been used is powerpoints, textbooks, and abstract translations. The purpose of this research is to analyze how interactive media viruses interact with material experts and media experts, and how the development of interactive media is equipped with worksheets. The method used in this study is the research and development method, with the Hannafin & Peck model development design. The data analysis used Miles and Huberman, consist of data reduction, data display, and conclusions. Results interactive virus media developed obtained a score is 84.44 by media experts and 88.89 by material experts and included in the criteria was very feasible to use. While the worksheet based on material experts obtained a percentage value is 82.89% and was categorized as feasible. In the digital era, counseling services are required to use internet technology media or cyber-counseling. This paper is aimed to develop therapeutic speech principles in Tafsir Al-Mishbah by M. Quraish Shihab and their implementation on cyber-counseling communication skills for Indonesian culture. This study uses a hermeneutic type of qualitative method. Therapeutic speech principles in Al-Qur'an includes1) qaulan baligha, which means a good speech, concise and easy to understand. 2) qaulan ma'rufa means kind, honorable and received by values prevailing in the society. 3) qaulan sadidan, means the truth speech, right and bright. 4) qaulan kariman means noble, gentle, generous speech and respect. 5) qaulan layyinan, means soft and polite speech. 6) qaulan maysuran means is the speech that triggers positivism and positive vibes. These six principles can be applied to cyber-counseling communication skills; on attending skills, listening skills, and influencing skills. In its implementation, it must maintain a balance between verbal and non-verbal speech, between the personality qualities of the counselor and the high desire of the counselee; so that both hearts are united (congruence), which can be seen from the texts in the counseling process that show how warm their self-disclosure is.
The purpose of the study was to obtain an overview of the application of Science Learning Based on Ethno-STEM with Digital Microscope, and to find out how the application of Science Learning Based on Ethno-STEM in improving the Science Process Skills of fourth grade students at SD Negeri 29 Idai. The type of research used is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of four stages in each cycle, namely planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting. The research was conducted in two cycles, each of which consisted of one meeting. The research data collection tools were the observation sheet of science process skills and student worksheets. The data analysis technique used qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques. The results of the assessment of Science Process Skills showed that there was an increase in the ability to observe students from 45.83% to 64.58%, the ability to classify students from 39.58% to 54.17%, the ability to predict students from 43.75% to 56, 25%, the ability to submit hypotheses from 39.58% to 54.17%, the ability to conclude 39.58% to 56.33%, and application skills from 31.25% to 58.33%. So it can be concluded that Ethno-STEM learning assisted by a simple digital microscope can improve the Science Process Skills of SDN 29 Idai students.

Sejak turunnya agama Islam, kehidupan manusia lebih terarah dan teratur. Agama Islam telah mampu mengubah tingkah laku masyarakat jahiliah menjadi masyarakat yang berkeadaban. Agama Islam membawa kebenaran yang datangnya dari Allah karena itulah kebenaran yang ada harus selalu disebarluaskan kepada umat manusia seluruhnya agar mereka mendapat kebahagiaan dalam hidup. Oleh karena itu, Islam menjadi agama dakwah. Sebagai agama dakwah, Islam mewajibkan kepada seluruh umatnya agar selalu menyebarkan ajaran agama Islam di manapun dan kapanpun, sesuai dengan kemampuan mereka masing-masing. Setiap orang yang telah menemukan dan telah meyakini kebenaran dalam agamanya, maka mereka pasti akan berusaha agar ajaran agama yang mereka yakini tersebar luas. Begitu juga para penganut agama Islam, mereka akan selalu berusaha menyebarkan atau mendakwahkan agamanya.Jika kita melihat keadaan zaman globalisasi seperti sekarang ini, yang arus informasi, teknologi, dan ilmu pengetahuannya semakin maju, maka tantangan dakwah Islam pun akan semakin kompleks. Jalan dakwah akan terasa semakin sulit dan berliku. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan orang-orang yang benar-benar siap untuk menjalankan tugas mulia ini. Orang yang menjalanklan tugas dakwah ini sering disebut dengan dai atau juru dakwah. Para dai harus orang yang benarbenar mampu untuk menjalankan aktivitas dakwah ini. Seorang dai ibarat seorang dokter, dia hendaknya mampu menyembuhkan penyakit-penyakit yang ada pada umat. Seorang juru dakwah harus memiliki kepandaian dan kesiapan, serta kemampuan yang diperlukan dalam dakwah sebelum mereka melakukan aktivitas dakwah.Apabila seorang juru dakwah tidak memiliki kesiapan dan kemampuan untuk menjalankan dakwah, kemungkinan besar dakwah yang dilakukan tidak bisa efektif. Kemampuan seperti apakah yang diperlukan oleh seorang juru dakwah?
