This research work shows the influence of concrete when the addition of natural fibers is included. Its objective is to know the behaviors suffered by the mechanical properties of simple concrete with natural fiber, in addition to its function and resistance. From the analysis of research articles found in the Ebsco, Scielo, Redalyc and Dialnet databases, which were studied and analyzed using the systematic review methodology, giving a result of 43 sources of information (28 articles and 15 theses), that were chosen through the exclusion criteria. In these studies, it was found that natural fibers are not aggregates that have been used since the present, but since the 70s trying to improve the conditions of the concrete and thus increase its durability. Outside of maintaining a low environmental impact and low-cost construction systems.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
