The purpose of this study is to demonstrate the magnitude of firms socially involved in helping fight the pandemic of COVID-19. This study highlights 680 go public firms in Indonesia. The content analysis is used to find the information of firms’ social involvement. The result point of this study demonstrates that from 680 go public firms listed during the pandemic, there are only seven and one-half percent of companies involved in combating the coronavirus outbreak. Firms provide the donation including funds, free internet services, nutrition products, masks, and medical supplies. They have recognized their social involvement as the form of corporate social responsibility
Purpose This paper aims to describe earnings growth and marketability generated by Islamic banks in Indonesia and to find the effects of a moderated mediation model on the nexus between Islamic financial inclusion and literacy, marketability and earnings growth. Design/methodology/approach The sample of this research was Islamic commercial banks in Indonesia listed on the Financial Services Authority and Bank Indonesia using time-series data of financial statements from 2014 to 2021. This research was designed using the model of moderated mediation. Findings Earnings growth experienced by Islamic banks in Indonesia has a positive average value followed by a positive marketability. Based on the significance test, the level of earnings growth is positively affected by marketability. The result indicates that the higher the marketability, the higher the earnings growth of Islamic banks. In a moderated mediation model, the result has found a positive effect on the nexus between inclusion supported by the role of literacy, marketability and earnings growth. It indicates that Islamic financial inclusion moderated purely by the role of literacy enhances Islamic banking marketability so that earnings growth continuously increases. Practical implications The increase of literacy is an empirically proven way to strengthen market power, so the finding obtained in this research can be feedback from the scheme made by the Indonesian government in supporting the Islamic business and for the corporate area being eager to grow greater and faster in competing and equalizing its power in the banking industry. In addition, this research implies that other countries continuously promote and increase the role of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion to enhance market power and increase the growth in Islamic banking. Originality/value This research extends the limited scholarly work on the role of Islamic financial literacy and inclusion using a different design from prior studies. The framework of market power theory has been elaborated to find the effect of Islamic financial inclusion supported by the role of literacy on earnings growth through marketability. This research is a trailblazer in testing the nexus model between variables allowing the path analysis using the moderated mediation model.
Derasnya perkembangan teknologi membuatnya menjadi kebutuhan sekaligus challenge bagi aparatur desa, agar lebih kompeten lagi. Desa atau kelurahanyang melakukan transformasi digital dianggap dapat membantu terwujudnya pemerintahan/negara yang pintar pula. Setelah dilakukan observasi ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar masyarakat Desa Wulonggere Kecamatan Polinggona masih buta digital, bahkan masih ada aparat desa yang tidak mampu menggunakan media digital dalam melaksanakan kerjanya. Tujuan Pengabdian ini untuk meningkatkan kompetensi para aparatur desa, terkhusus dalam rangka penyelesaian tugas-tugas pengelolaan keuangan desa dengan memaksimalkan media digital. Metode yang dilakukan dalam kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini meliputi metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi. Tahapan PkM ini terdiri dari (1) Observasi, Koordinasi dengan pihak desa, penentuan jadwal kegiatan; (2) Penyampaian materi inti, diskusi; dan (3) Penarikan kesimpulan, Penutup. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini yaitu meningkatnya pengetahuan dan wawasan aparatur desan dan pengurus BUMDes tentang jenis-jenis media digital serta pemahaman dalam pengelolaan keuangan desa. Untuk itu tim menyarankan agar kegiatan upgrading pengetahuan dan keterampilan aparatur desa perlu dilakukan secara berkesinambungan.
Currently, there are many raw food products circulating in traditional markets, one of which is salted fish. The Covid-19 pandemic has changed economic life, including salted fish traders at the Lamekongga market, Kolaka Regency. The revival of the salted fish business is considered very important because this source of livelihood experienced a decline in income during the COVID-19 outbreak that entered Kolaka Regency. The purpose of this study was to measure the effect of partner support (X1) and mental attitude (X2) on the economic recovery (Y) of salted fish traders in Lamekongga traditional market. This research is an ex-port facto research which is causal associative. The subjects of this study were 19 sellers of salted fish in the Lamekongga traditional market. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires and documentation. Data were analyzed using simple regression and multiple regression. The implication of the research is to describe the recovery economy after the peak of COVID-19. The results of the inferential analysis of the influence of partner support (X1) and mental attitude (X2) on economic recovery (Y), obtained information on the value of sig.2-tailed is 0.000 < 0.05, the test results are statistically significant, thus there is an effect of partner support ( X1) and mental attitude (X2) towards economic recovery (Y).
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Diversifikasi Produk, Struktur Modal, Perputaran Modal Kerja, dan Ukuran Perusahaan terhadap Profitabilitas pada Perusahaan Sub Sektor Telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2015-2020 secara parsial dan simultan. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder yang diakses melalui situs www.idx.co.id. Teknik penentuan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sampel jenuh/sensus, dimana semua populasi dijadikan sampel yang terdiri dari 5 perusahaan sub sektor telekomunikasi yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) periode 2015-2020. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah regresi data panel dengan bantuan alat Eviews 9. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa, secara parsial Diversifikasi Produk dan Perputaran Modal Kerja berpengaruh tidak signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan Struktur Modal dan Ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap profitabilitas. Sedangkan secara simultan semua variabel independen berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variabel dependen, dengan koefisien determinasi sebesar 65,27%.
