Indonesia is ranked 74 out of 100 countries and is in the low category in the EF EPI 2020 (Education First English Proficiency Index). Grammar and tenses are the basic components in English. This study aims to design, create, and implement learning 16 English tenses for college students. The learning media will provide tables and explanations of 16 tenses in English, sentence examples and exercises in the form of quizzes equipped with pronunciation sentences to practice listening skills. The data collection methods used were interviews, questionnaires, documentation and literature. The application is made based on Android that can be downloaded on Google Play. Based on the results of 50 college students’ evaluation, it stated that in terms of material, 91,9% was easy to understand, while in terms of UI, 97.6% was interesting to use, and in terms of UX, 90,8% was easy to use. Based on the interview results of 3 English lecturers in this study, it can be concluded that 83,7% of the material is suitable for the college student level, while in terms of UI, 86.7% is Demandia, Vol. 06 No. 02 (September 2021) 278 interesting to use, and in terms of UX. 91.7% is easy and recommended to be used as a supporting media for learning English at STMIK STIKOM Indonesia. The purpose of this study is to see how individual characteristics, work placement, and work environment affect employee performance. CV. Enam Jaya has employees with characteristics who are less careful in recording stock inventories, so they often experience cases where the stock reports do not match the warehouse stock, lack of work among employees, which results in many pending tasks, lack of planning in carrying out tasks. In terms of an inadequate work environment such as lack of air cleanliness in the room, hot air temperature and disturbing noise. CV. Enam Jaya has a population of 50 employees using the quota sampling technique which is used in research that has a limited number of samples. The data processing method in this study used Minitab version 20. The research data used were primary data obtained through distributing questionnaires. The analytical tool used is multiple linear regression test. The results of the study indicate that: There is a positive and significant effect of the Work Environment on Employee Performance, but there is no influence of Individual Characteristics and Work Placement on Employee Performance.
Abstrak. Materi tentang tenses dalam pelajaran Bahasa Inggris sering menjadi kendala dalam proses belajar di kelas maupun secara mandiri oleh siswa SMP. Media yang digunakan untuk penyampaian materi tenses di kelas biasanya bersifat konvensional dalam bentuk table rumus dan penjabaran yang harus dihafalkan manual oleh siswa. Proses belajar tersebut membuat siswa mudah bosan karena tidak relevan pada era digital 4.0 saat ini. Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan media pembelajaran tenses dalam bentuk media digital yang dapat diakses secara online dengan pendekatan konsep gamifikasi untuk memotivasi minat belajar tenses siswa SMP secara mandiri. Metode penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif, dilakukan di empat SMP Penggerak di Kabupaten Badung dengan data pendukung meliputi; observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan studi literatur. Berdasarkan penelitian terdahulu yang serupa disebutkan bahwa penerapan gamifikasi menjadi solusi praktis untuk meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa karena menggunakan unsur permainan, sehingga memberikan kesan belajar sambal bermain. Media smart fingers tenses berbasis online pada penelitian ini telah menerapkan konsep gamifikasi dengan memberikan poin untuk jawaban yang benar pada menu kuis tenses. Elemen permainan lainnya yang diterapkan dan mampu memotivasi penggunaan pada media ini ialah lencana yang diberikan berdasarkan level dan poin tertentu. Siswa juga dapat memantau ranking pemain lainnya sehingga menciptakan rasa kompetisi yang positif.
