, A common belief is expressed that imposing sanction on the criminal offenders is the only procedure to restrain crimes in a society. Many a times the offenders are convicted after committing an offence and after a certain period of time they are released. A large number among them again commit crimes; are rearrested, and resentenced. The preeminent objective of study is to explore the patterns and trends of recidivism and also to identify the causes of recidivism among prisoners. The study finds that deficits in education, employment, and housing as well as the lack of treatment programs pose significant barriers to the successful reentry of inmates released from prison. Moreover, outdated laws and procedures and long term justice system process are the main factors of recidivism in Bangladesh. There have been used differential association theory, classical school thought of criminology to explain the patterns, trend and causes and inoculation theory as prevention or reduction of recidivism of prisoners. This study concludes with a discussion that offers suggestions for future research.
Ethical decadences are increasing in our contemporary society day by day. Adultery is one of the examples of moral degradation. This study investigates the present condition and consequences of adultery and finds women commit adultery with ex-lover, relative, known person and in some cases with unknown person. Social media such as: facebook, whats app, viber, imo etc. are common tools to commit adultery in now days. Lack of moral sense, degenerate culture, lack of family bonding, technological development are the main causes for committing adultery and as consequences murder, divorce, spouse violence, domestic violence, flogging, sexually transmitted diseases, honor-killing, stoning etc are the result of adultery. It conducted based on secondary resources which are collected from books, articles, newspapers and authentic websites. This study tries to describe adultery through opportunity theory where adultery is thought a result of getting more opportunity. Legal authorities can get a clear idea about the conditions and consequences of adultery which can help the government to create policy to decrease adultery in Bangladesh.

As a result, adultery leads to murder, divorce, domestic violence, flogging, STIs, honor killings, stoning, and other crimes. It was conducted using secondary resources that were gathered from real websites, books, articles, and newspapers. This study attempts to explain adultery using the opportunity hypothesis, which holds that having more opportunities leads to infidelity. Legal authorities can gain a good understanding of the causes and effects of adultery, which will enable the government develop policies to reduce the practice in Bangladesh.
The study focused on realizing the condition of crime victim and it is a tearing problem in Bangladesh. Police are the principal delegates of the criminal justice system local jurisdictions across the country face significant challenges in criminal justice. The particular sorts of crime and criminal justice problems that local governments face change extensively the nation over. To observe the nature of crime victimization in Bangladesh and try to find out the factors and their legal appreciations is the objectives of this study. In addition, secondary method and data is used for fulfillment of the study. There are some factors increase the visibility of victims i.e. role of media, the higher public profile etc. The victim is weak in relation to the offender – the ‘ideal victim’ is likely to be a female, sick, very old or very young and victim is blameless for what happened. Victims suffer from trauma resulted from the crime. Legal appreciation of victims’ right is, the Code of Criminal Procedure 1898, Section 545 (1 & 2) and section 546 recognized the right of compensation, but the opportunity was hardly available.
