A new chalcone named as balanochalcone (1) together with eight known compounds, methyl caffeate (2), β-hydroxydihydrochalcone (3), methyl gallate (4), dimethyl-6,9,10-trihydroxybenzo[kl]xanthene-1,2-dicarboxylate (5), p-coumaric acid (6), quercetin (7), scopoletin (8) and pinoresinol (9) have been isolated from the ethyl acetate extract of Vietnamese Balanophora laxiflora Hemsl. Their structures were characterised by IR, UV, HR-ESI-MS, 1D and 2D NMR and CD spectroscopies. Compounds 2 and 5 showed moderate cytotoxicity against four cancer cell lines, KB (a human epidermal carcinoma), MCF7 (human breast carcinoma), SK-LU-1 (human lung carcinoma) and HepG2 (hepatocellular carcinoma). In addition, compounds 1 and 5 showed moderate antioxidant activity.
Once again in this study, we emphasizes strongly on applications of mathematical solutions for industrial uses. By using qualitative analysis, synthesis and inductive methods, together with statistic data, our paper target is to analyze aspects of SWOT analysis on blockchain technology and its opportunities for various industries and sectors in emerging markets such as Vietnam. This is based on the original foundation theory indicating that blockchain tech functioned as a mathematical solutions that can be applied for solving commerce secrets, with high data security and can be used for intellectual property. Among our research results is findings on the connection between IoTs - Internet of Things and blockchain tech, as well as relationship between AI - Artificial intelligence and blockchain tech. Last but not least authors propose cybersecurity risk solutions and there are policies implications attached.
ICT, IoTs (Internet of Things)and AI (artificial Intelligence) nowadays can have certain influence on teaching methods of history and geography for students in primary schools in emerging markets such as Vietnam. Through these methods of teaching, students and pupils in primary schools can have competent development. To achieve the results, authors use some research methods, including document analysis, pedagogical observation, qualitative analysis, synthesis and inductive methods, survey at primary schools in Dak Lak province. We see that teachers' skills such as psychological, pedagogy and computer skills will affect their students' thinking ability, creativity and IT skills, etc. Also, we emphasizes on story telling method for students from lecturers side.
Introduction: Patient satisfaction is one of the most important components of measuring healthcare quality. Objectives: The study aimed to evaluate the validity and reliability of the patient satisfaction scale with the quality of health services and its associated factors. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted to collect data on patient satisfaction with 301 outpatients at one polyclinic in Hanoi, Vietnam. Results: The overall outpatient satisfaction was 53.5%. There were five factors (facilities, services provision results, information transparency and administrative procedures, accessibility, and interaction and communication of staff) including one major factor with high Eigenvalues coefficient, 22.5 for satisfaction with facility, and four others with lower Eigenvalues coefficient, 3.2, 2.0, 1.5, and 1.2 for satisfaction with service provision results, information transparency and administrative procedures, accessibility, and interaction and communication of staff respectively. All satisfaction-factors show internal consistency reliability, with a Cronbach’s Alpha of over 0.9. The insured are 3.5 times (95% CI: 1.9–6.2) more likely to be satisfied with health services than the uninsured. Conclusion: The patient satisfaction measurement tool should be used for intervention to improve the quality of health services at the clinic.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
