This can be seen from the contribution of value-added to the economic sector, which is largely dominated by the tertiary sector, especially the tourism services sub-sector which has become the backbone of economic growth followed by the primary sector and the secondary sector. The dominance of the tertiary sector has the potential to be very risky because the tourism sector is very vulnerable to various phenomena including the Covid-19 pandemic. The debate between the purpose of preservation and economic empowerment in cultural tourism with all its manifestations is still a heated debate among tourism experts and tourism businesses. While the development of Bali tourism from time to time has experienced many changes along with the social dynamics that exist in society Bali. This study uses method desk research by conducting a study of literature related to the problem being solved, through a study of scientific journals, opinions, and online articles, then comparing and finding similarities and differences so that it can be used to explain the problem you want to solve. In the discussion of this study, it was found that there was still dualism that needed to be integrated to create a balance between the goals of cultural preservation and economic development for Bali. There are several solutions offered; such as Picard offers solutions to the understanding and function of art and culture and its activities in tourism and religious life. While Max-neef offers Tourism community relationships, while other solutions are the need for stakeholder involvement, Blueprint, and Carrying Capacity

Obyek wisata merupakan bagian penting dari pariwisata dimana dari pemasukan yang dihasilkan akan berdampak pada perekonomian masyarakat.  Penelitian ini dilakukan agar dapat melihat resiliensi atau kemampuan pelaku usaha dalam mengatasi kesulitan pada masa pandemi , Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk  mengetahui  Resiliensi  Pelaku Usaha Pariwisata Pada Masa Pandemi Di Kawasan Objek Wisata Canggu, Kabupaten Badung. Pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini     menggunakan purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan masyarakat Canggu resilience terhadap adanya pandemi. Warga Canggu selain memilih untuk bertahan dengan pekerjaannya ada juga sebagian yang memilih untuk mencari pekerjaan lain agar dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidupnya.

ABSTRAKGrooming, service excellence adalah merupakan salahsatu mata kuliah yang terdapat dalam pelajaran Pemasaran Hotel yang ditawarkan pada kurikulum Program Studi Manajemen, Grooming, service excellent sangat berfungsi sebagai jasa pelayanan diperusahaan Jasa perhotelan untuk menjaga kepuasan pelanggan. dari hal tersebut ditingkat SMK masih banyak prilaku siswa yang masih acuh tak acuh dalam berperilaku, sebagaimana yang diharapkan oleh Dunia Industri Perhotelan. Sehingga tidak jarang kalau suatu perusahaan perhotelan setelah siswa direkrut jadi karyawan memerlukan waktu untuk dilatih lagi dalam bentuk grooming dan service excellence agar dalam berhubungan dengan tamu dapat berperilaku baik. Sebagai dosen saya telah menyelenggarakan pelatihan mengenai grooming dan service excellence diSMK Negeri 5 Negara, Desa Pekutatan, Jembrana, dengan hasilnya; Siswa memiliki Grooming yang baik, dapat mengaktualisasikan service excellence, dapat menguasai English Hospitality, dan memiliki Character yang baik. Dan sudah memiliki buku pedoman grooming dan service excellence sebagai pegangan training selanjutnya. Sehinga nantinya dapat diamalkan dimasyarakat dan industri pariwisata didaerahnya dan ditempat lain. Dengan demikian menambah pertumbuhan ekonomi didaerah tersebut.Kata Kunci: Grooming, Service Excellence, English Hospitality, Character Building
