The Revolution of Industry 4.0 (IR 4.0) brings a new stimulus to educational system in Indonesia and causes education transformation. Technology used in education field is a segment of education 4.0 that can train students to improve their learning achievement. The process of teaching learning to achieve this goal is started from the teachers' awareness of digital literacy. Lecturers as teachers or educator in higher education play a crucial role in their students' lives. Unfortunately, the motivation of lecturers to participate in teacher professional development program is still low. In fact, participating in the program support their professional development process. This study aims to explore how teachers' awareness of digital literacy support their work in conducting three principles of higher education teachers. This exploration was determined from literature review and analysis of policy documents. The finding shows that digital literacy and teachers' professional development in education 4.0 impact the teachers to have their professional jobs well done. Digital literacy can be implemented into numerous aspects. It is very practical and gives benefit for teachers as a professional lecturer to do Indonesia's three principles of higher education. Indonesian government must support developing good quality teachers since good education is the most crucial tool to solve various problems. Teachers as lifelong learners must maintain their professional development (PD) to face challenges in education 4.0.

The outbreak of Covid-19 has massively changed the way of teaching and learning. As what has been stated by the Minister of Education and Culture, Indonesia focused on the health and safety of all the citizens. Thus, schools and colleges closures were decided in order to reduce the spread of the coronavirus outbreak. This research was aimed at investigating English teacher's teaching media usage from July to October 2020. This research was categorized into case study by applying a single case study in a class of fourth grade of primary school level and an English teacher. By observing the WhatsApp group of teachers and parents' interactions, the data in the form of screenshot images were collected. Parents' comments on WhatsApp group were observed and documented to support the progress of English teacher's teaching media in delivering the materials. The findings revealed that the English teacher made developed the media in teaching English initiated from material in the form of image and text moving to video recordings and voice notes, to integrating between video on English teacher's YouTube channel. Moreover, various types of evaluation that were initiated by students' workbooks, students' videos, Quizzes application, and Google form were used during distance learning. This research was expected to contribute to English language teaching specifically on teaching media used in primary level during online teaching and learning.
This study was classified into classroom action research (CAR) which carried out the implementation of Simple Science Experiment during teaching and learning process at Kindergarten students’ at Frances Pre-school Tulungagung to overcome the students’ difficulties on identifying English vocabulary. In accordance to the preliminary study results showed that (1) the students had low participation during teaching and learning process (2) the students had difficulty in identifying and memorizing English vocabulary. Consequently, the criteria of success were aimed to the stated problems above. The results of the research proved that applying Simple Science Experiment during teaching and learning process in Kindergarten level was able to upgrade the students’ participation and English vocabulary identification. The Simple Science Experiment supported the Kindergarten students to get involved actively during teaching and learning process and created mostly students gaining better ability in English vocabulary identification.
