Introdução: A coagulação intravascular disseminada (CIVD) é, atualmente, definida como uma síndrome adquirida, caracterizada pela ativação difusa da coagulação intravascular, levando à formação e deposição de fibrina na microvasculatura. Há relatos de coagulopatia relacionada à Covid-19, doença pelo novo coronavírus SARS-CoV-2. Método: Atualização da Literatura acerca da associação entre Covid-19 e a presença de CIVD nas bases dados LIlacs, Bireme, Pubmed (inglês e português) no presente ano.Discussão: Alguns autores vêm estudando o papel da anticoagulação no manejo dos pacientes com infecção grave e (CIVD). Dados de inúmeras pesquisas sugerem efeitos benéficos do uso de anticoagulantes, o que vem sendo recomendado em algumas instituições no Brasil e no mundo. Vale ressaltar que a eficácia da medida ainda não foi validada. Conclusão: Até o presente momento não existem recomendações precisas em relação ao manejo dos pacientes com coagulopatia por Covid-19. Além disso, são excassos os dados na literatura que associam o uso de anticoagulantes ou antiplaquetários à ocorrência ou gravidade da Covid-19.
Objective: make a review of the main neurological diseases associated with neuromuscular scoliosis and perioperative care during scoliosis correction surgeries. Method: Non-systematic review using a Google Scholar platform for articles with the descriptor "neuromuscular scoliosis" in the journal title. Results and Discussion: 46 articles in English and 3 articles in Portuguese were used for this review. Conclusion: Neuromuscular scoliosis has the fastest course of evolution, higher rates of disability and higher rates of complications in corrective surgery when compared to idiopathic scoliosis. The knowledge of neurological diseases more associated with neuromuscular scoliosis helps in its early detection and its long-term monitoring.I.
No final de 2019, o mundo acometido por uma grave patologia causada pelo vírus SARS-CoV-2, intitulada de COVID-19. Acredita-se hoje que o isolamento social e a quarentena são as melhores estratégias para o controle da pandemia, pois, a partir deste binônimo, é possível haver a redução da taxa de transmissão viral e, consequentemente, a diminuição nos casos de COVID-19. Entretanto, foi observado aumento substancial nas taxas de depressão, ansiedade, suicídio e automutilações não suicidas; principalmente em indivíduos com doença mental prévia. Conclui-se, então, que tais manifestações sejam reflexo do isolamento social, bem como do medo e incertezas gerados pela pandemia.
Introduction: The outbreak of COVID-19 among humans in Brazil and its spread around the world is strongly impacting mental health. Health problems such as anxiety, depression, insomnia and fear were the most related to. High levels of stress during the day can impair quality and time of sleep. Method: The purpose of this article was to update, through a bibliographic search, the effects of the pandemic on sleep disorders, with insomnia being the most related. A systematic search had been carried out in the main databases: Lilacs, Bireme and PubMed. The languages used in the search were Portuguese and English, from articles published this year. Using the following keywords: Sleep quality, COVID-19, Insomnia, Cognitive behavioral therapy. Discussion: The concern about financial and political uncertainties, feelings of impotence and fear of self-contamination and of family members are factors that corroborate with the worsening of the sleep quality of the population and health professionals’ working on the front lines of the fight against the pandemic, leading to increased cases of insomnia. Behavioral Cognitive Therapy, hypnotherapy and social interaction mediated by Web conferencing tools are the best ways to treat these symptoms at the moment. Even so, the brazilian literature on the subject is extremely scarce, making it an extremely relevant subject for future research.
