Cassava processing into bioethanol potentially generates waste as animal feed

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of parents in increasing students' learning motivation in this case, of course, as parents have a very large role in the process that children go through in supporting their learning motivation. This study uses a qualitative approach, often described as research that publishes phenomena and social behavior as it exists (in natural setting) and also in accordance with the facts and also existing online media then understood and after that then get data and information to be added and reviewed through small notes then become an existing analysis so that a study is obtained that relevant and accurate. The population and samples used in this study were 5 students consisting of class IV to class V MI Miftahul Arifin and 5 parents, guardians of students and class teachers. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire sent to each student with various types of relevant questions as well as field observations in the form of open interviews during visits to students' homes, the results of the study showed that the education of parents and the closeness of parents with their children very influential on the motivation to learn seen from the results of the questionnaire and interviews that have been conducted by researchers with parents and children.

Sebagai sarana komunikasi, bahasa memegang peranan penting dalam kehidupan juga dalam kelas. Namun dalam kegiatan kelas, siswa sering merasa sulit untuk memahami teks, karena topik baru yang dibawa oleh guru tidak memiliki keterkaitan dengan pengetahuan mereka sebelumnya. Konstruktivisme adalah pendekatan yang menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran lebih efektif dan bermakna ketika siswa mampu berinteraksi dengan masalah atau konsep. Contoh pembelajaran dengan menggunakan prinsip teori belajar konstruktivisme adalah gagasan pembelajaran bahasa kolaboratif, pembelajaran berbasis proyek, pembelajaran berbasis tugas dan permainan peran. Kata Kunci: Konstruktivisme, Teori belajar, Bahasa asing

The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic is not only on the safety aspect of people's lives but also on the education aspect. One of the problems faced is that students have problems understanding each material given by the teacher because what has experienced so far is that students only get assignments online (What's App, E-Learning), then students do the assignments and send them back. At that moment, there is no direct explanation from the teacher, and each student's answer only relies on the internet (google), even though students need an understanding of the concepts in the material provided, especially mathematics for fractions. One of the activities that help students develop themselves in improving their learning abilities is the tutor. Solution offered to students who live in RT 003, Paupire Village, in this service activity is to provide Student learning assistance and guidance by using fractional block teaching aids during the Covid 19 Pandemic to increase understanding of concepts and learning outcomes. Tutoring can increase students' motivation and academic value, increase understanding of fraction concepts and learning outcomes.

Berdasarkan wawancara singkat dengan guru bahwa guru masih menggunakan teks bacaan yang ada di dalam buku daripada menyusun sendiri teks bacaan sesuai dengan tema dan jenis teks yang dipelajari pada pertemuan tertentu.Dari hasil wawancara singkat tersebut maka peneliti menerapkan potensi kearifan local dalam proses pembelajaran di kelas, terutama dalam penyajian teks bacaan sesuai dengan tema yang dipelajari. Pengembangan bahan bacaan ini diawali dengan menganalisis potensi kearifan lokal.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (R&D) dengan merujuk pada model Dick and Carey dengan sedikit penyesuaian sesuai konteks penelitian. Adapun langkahlangkah pembelajarannya mencakup (1) mengidentifikasi tujuan umum pembelajaran, (2) melaksanakan analisis pengajaran, (3) mengidentifikasi tingkah laku masukan dan karakteristik siswa, (4) merumuskan tujuan performansi, (5) mengembangkan butirbutir tes acuan patokan, (6) mengembangkan strategi pengajaran, (7) mengembangkan dan memilih material pengajaran, (8) mendesain dan melaksanakan evaluasi formatif, (9) merevisi bahan pembelajaran, (10) mendesain dan melakukan evaluasi sumatif. Hasil uji validasi produk bahan bacaan bahasa Inggris berbasis kearifan lokal Ende-Lio oleh ahli materi, ahli bahasa dan media di peroleh kategori Baik dengan skor 90%.
