This paper presents the possibility of e-learning as connector among education institutions in the fourth industrial revolution. Since industry started emerging in this world, the industrial journey has reached level four that is currently well known as the fourth industrial revolution. Each stage of revolution has its own impact on education. The fourth industrial revolution requires educational sector synchronize the educational process in order for students or graduates to smoothly interact to the revolutionized changes. E-learning is one among educational entities that is relevant to the fourth industrial revolution in the area of education. With the connectedness as the main characteristic of the fourth industrial revolution, it gives a wide range of opportunities among education institutions particularly for higher education institutions to work, collaborate, and help each other within the platform of e-learning. Besides that, e-learning also enable the developed higher education to help primary and secondary schools at low cost and energy, particularly for professional development of teacher.
This study aims to determine the improvement of student learning outcomes by applying audio-visual media to tolerance material as a unifying tool for the nation's subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Budi Pekerti. The research used is research that uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) or classroom action research with the type of participant CAR research and discovery learning approach. This research is more about solving a problem whose results are described thoroughly. The research subjects in this CAR are students of class XI SMK Negeri 2 Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes, especially tolerance material as a unifying tool for the nation in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education during the application of audio-visual media have increased, as seen from the average value before implementation is 73.3, after using the media. audio-visual, the learning outcomes in the first cycle increased with an average value of 77.21 and in the second cycle it reached 86.41. So, the use of audio-visual media can improve the learning outcomes of class XI students in the subjects of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education, especially tolerance material as a unifying tool for the nation at SMK Negeri 2 Karang Baru, Aceh Tamiang Regency.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan Higher Order Thinking Skilss (HOTS) mahasiswa PGSD melalui penerapan model pembelajaran RADEC (Read-Answer-Discuss-Explain and Create). Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode quasi eksperimen dan desain one group pretest posttest design. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa semester II unit D yang berjumlah 23 orang, dipilih menggunakan teknik sampling purposive. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada mata kuliah Konsep Dasar IPA SD II materi alat optik. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah soal HOTS yang disusun dalam bentuk uraian terbuka sebanyak 10 soal. Peningkatan HOTS mahasiswa dianalisis melalui perhitungan indeks gain (N-Gain). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran RADEC dapat meningkatkan HOTS mahasiswa PGSD. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa model pembelajaran RADEC sebagai model pembelajaran inovatif terbaru yang dapat membangun keterampilan abad 21 khususnya HOTS.
The purposes of the research is to know the effect of the implementation of e-learning toward Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) to the students of math at Almuslim University. The research used was a quasi-experimental research instrument in the form of a questionnaires sheet. The subject of this research was mathematics education students of class 2017, 2018, and 2019. After conducted the research, the questionnaires result data was in the form of ordinal data which was converted into interval data using the method of successive interval (MSI). The result of the analysis of the normality test obtained sign. 0.951 (normally distributed). Based on the results of hypothesis testing, the sign. value is obtained equal to 0.003 < α (0.05). It can be concluded that there are an effect of the application of e-learning on the Self-Regulated Learning (SRL) to the students at mathematics education study program; at Almuslim University, and the result of learning through E-learning shown that the students have good Self-Regulated Learning (SRL).
