The study was conducted to develop science module based on project-based learning that is feasible to be implemented in science learning and has potency to build critical thinking skills of junior high school students. The study was Research and Development (RD), modified from Borg Gall steps covering only research and information collecting, planning, preliminary form of product development, expert judgment, product revision, and final product. The subjects were 2 expert lecturers (content expert and media expert) and 2 science teachers of SMP N 1 Wonosari. The types of data were quantitative and qualitative. Data were collected by means of SSP validation sheets and disaster preparedness identification sheets. The techniques of data analysis were descriptive analysis of qualitative and quantitative to 5 grading scale. The result of the study shows that science module is feasible to be implemented in science learning and has potency to build critical thinking skills of junior high school students.
Banyaknya rumus fisika yang harus dikuasai membuat siswa bosan belajar fisika dan materi yang diajarkan. Metode Mnemonik dianggap sebagai metode yang cocok untuk digunakan di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada perbedaan kemampuan menghafal rumus fisika setelah diajar menggunakan metode mnemonik dan praktek. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMP IT AR-RAHMAN Majalengka pada kelas VIII T.P. 2020/2021 yang melibatkan subjek sebanyak 34 siswa terbagi ke dalam dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen belajar dengan pembelajaran mnemonik dan kelas kontrol belajar dengan pembelajaran praktek. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Experiment dan desain penelitian two group randomized subject pretest dan posttest. Adapun teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes kemampuan menghafal rumus-rumus fisika dan kuesioner. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji N-gain, Uji Wilcoxon, dan uji t dua pihak.Hasil penelitian menunjukan terdapat perbedaan kemampuan menghafal rumus fisika pada materi tekanan zat antara siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran mnemonik dengan siswa yang mendapatkan pembelajaran praktek.
