This study aimed at detemining the effect of Problem Based Learning Model on the ability of students’ critical thinking through lesson on the topic of effort and energy. The method of research was an experimental research by using post-test-one control group design. Experimental class was treated by problem based learning, while the control class was taught by conventional learning through lesson study. Population of this research was the high school at Al Hamzar, Tembeng Putik of the X grade which consisted of two classes. Those were X Mathematics and natural science 1 and X Mathematics and Natural Science 2 with the total number or students was 58. The sampling thechnique applied was saturated sampling technique. Then, the instrument used in the present research was essay test which contained 6 items. The test arrangement followed the indicators of critical thinking with a variety of possible answers. Having implemented both in the experimental and in the control class, there were improvements in learning process in tems of managing the time, the students and doing aperception. Testing hyphoteshis result by uisng t-test showed t-test = 1. 25 and t-table in signifance level was 5% was 0. 07, so t-test> t-table which meant the alternative hyphothesis (Ha) was accepted and null hyphothesis (Ho) was rejected , it could be concluded that problem based learning thorugh lesson study was significantly effective in students’ critical ability on the topic of effort and energy for the tenth garade students at Al Hamzar high school.
There are more than 80 species of fish caught by fishermen in the sea of Indonesia. To find out what kinds of fish mostly caught, it is necessary to analyse the data pattern of fish being caught. The activities of searching and associating the data pattern are closely related to data mining technique that being used to discover the rules of association of items. In this associative rule method, there are two process can be used: the process of generating frequent itemset and finding associative rules. The Frequent Itemset Generation is a process to get the connection of the itemset and the value of the association based on the value of support and confidence. The algorithm used to generate the frequent itemset is Apriori Algorithm. The Apriori Algorithm has a weakness in the extraction of the appropriate feature of the used attributes. This condition causes the rules formed in large number. This research applies Apriori Algorithm based on principal component analysis to obtain more optimal rules. After the experiments using the apriori algorithm applied with the magnitude ˚ = 30, minimum Support 80% and Confidence 80%, the result of the rule formed are totally 82 rules.
Smartphone telah mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat pada saat ini. Baik dari segi Penyimpanan Memori, Baterai maupun design dan spesifikasi yang disajikan. Banyak macam merek smartphone yang menawarkan segala kelebihan-kelebihan dari sebuah smartphone. Maka dari itu penulis akan meneliti dan membandingkan beberapa dari kriteria smartphone yang dibutuhkan mahasiswa. Diharapkan dengan adanya penulisan ini dan penelitian ini dapat menambah wawasan bagi siapapun. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan metode AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) pendekatan. Penting sekali dalam pemilihan merek smartphone dikarenakan semakin bagus kualitas suatu merek smartphone akan akan timbul kepuasan terhadap mahasiswa. Dalam penelitian ini penulis mengambil empat kriteria pemilihan, yaitu Harga, Kapasitas Memori, Baterai dan Kamera.

Keterampilan berbicara pada anak usia 4-5 tahun, pada umumnya anak akan mampu menjawab pertanyaan sederhana, menceritakan kembali isi cerita dan aktif bertanya. Hasil pengamatan pada anak kelompok A1 TK Taman Ananda Surabaya, ditemukan bahwa keterampilan berbicara pada anak kelompok A1 masih kurang dalam hal anak belum bisa menceritakan kembali isi cerita, anak masih belum bisa menjawab pertanyaan sederhana dan anak kurang aktif bertanya. Salah satu cara agar keterampilan berbicara anak meningkat adalah menggunakan metode story telling. Melalui metode story telling, anak mampu lebih aktif dalam bertanya, anak mampu menjawab pertanyaan dari guru dan anak mampu menceritakan kembali isi cerita. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode story telling terhadap keterampilan berbicara pada anak kelompok A1 TK Taman Ananda SurabayaPenelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Subyek dari penelitian ini berjumlah 19 anak yang terdiri dari 10 anak perempuan dan 9 anak laki-laki. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji wilcoxon matched pairs test. Hasil penelitian uji wilcoxon matched pairs test menunjukkan bahwa nilai THitung= 0 dan nilai signifikasi yang dipakai adalah 5% dan N= 19 maka diperoleh TTabel= 46 karena THitung< TTabel (0<46) maka Ha diterima, sehingga metode story telling berpengaruh terhadap keterampilan berbicara pada anak kelompok A1 TK Taman Ananda Surabaya
