Currently the use of technology has developed a lot, for example learning media in various educational institutions. Augmented reality is a concept consisting of forms that have been developed and implemented in the scope of learning. Thus, the use and use of augmented reality as a medium in learning media can provide a new innovation for the development of learning media. Augmented reality users are not only using real objects, but also using virtual objects as information delivery. This writing aims to utilize augmented reality in learning, especially in Indonesian language news text material which is based on research literature studies in the field studied.
