Tulisan ini mencoba menghadirkan Lariangi sebagai sebuah ritual tradisional masyarakat Kaledupa di Kabupaten Wakatobi, Sulawesi Tenggara. Seiring berjalannya waktu, lariangi ini mengalami pergeseran dari sebuah ritual tradisional menjadi sebuah seni pertunjukan yang dipengaruhi oleh berbagai faktor. Dengan memahami fungsinya sebagai sebuah representasi komunitas pemiliknya, Lariangi akhirnya bergeser fungsinya setelah melalui negosiasi, (1) masuknya Islam dan mempengaruhi tradisi Hindu yang mulanya ada dalam Lariangi, (2) peralihan bahasa yang terjadi seiring berjalannya waktu dan (3) pergeseran fungsi Lariangi serta peruntukkannya. Representasi ideologis akhirnya bergeser dalam Lariangi dan melahirkan kepaduan baru dalam peralihan kepercayaan masyarakat pemilik Lariangi sejak masa pra-Islam dan setelah hadirnya Islam. Hal ini pun tampak dalam masyarakatnya yang islami tetapi masih ‘menjaga’ tradisi Hindu sebagai satu-satunya jejak yang terdeteksi. Juga karena pengaruh ekspansi Kesultanan yang memiliki bahasa Wolio sebagai lingua franca menghilangkan jejak kehidupan kuno di masyarakat Kaledupa. Pada tahap ini Lariangi tidak dapat lagi menjadi representasi identitas utuh masyarakat Kaledupa.Kata kunci: Lariangi, representasi, identitas

Yellowbird is a movie for children directed by Christian De Vita that contains a lot of moral values. This movie includes stories of family, friendship, fun, and happiness. It is necessary to discuss more deeply how the author conveys moral values in this movie. The method that is used in this study is a qualitative method. The primary data was taken from the Yellowbird movie and the secondary data were collected from various sources. The data were analyzed in the framework of moral values by Sam Harris (Harris, 2010). In the classification of moral values, the researcher uses 11 categories of moral values according to Hornby (2010). The findings revealed that there were 11 moral values: bravery, humbleness, honesty, steadfastness, sympathy to others, cooperativeness, thankfulness, trustworthiness, kind-hearted, sincerity and love, and affection. If viewed from the point of view of Sam Harris, this movie teaches the moral values that are allegorically carried by the Yellowbird character. Film ini bercerita tentang keluarga, pertemanan, keseruan, dan kebahagiaan. Film ini perlu dibahas lebih mendalam tentang bagaimana penulis film menyampaikan nilai moral di film buatannya. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif. Data primer penelitian diambil dari film Yellowbird dan data sekunder diambil dari berbagai sumber. Kedua data tersebut kemudian dianalisis menggunakan kerangka nilai moral cetusan Sam Harris (2010). Peneliti mengklasifikasi­kan nilai-nilai moral yang ditampilkan di film menggunakan 11 kategori nilai moral yang milik Hornby (2010). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 11 nilai moral dalam film ini, yaitu: keberanian, rasa rendah diri, kejujuran, keteguhan, simpati kepada sesama, sifat kooperatif, rasa syukur, kepercayaan, sifat baik hati, ketulusan dan cinta, dan kasih sayang. Jika dilihat dari teori Sam Harris (2010), film ini mengajarkan nilai-nilai moral yang secara alegoris dibawakan oleh tokoh utama film Yellowbird yang bernama Yellowbird. This study aims to analyze the style of greetings as a linguistic identity to recognize the poet and leader of the Buton community: A study of Kabhanti Bula Malino's manuscripts. Through an expressive approach and descriptive method, the data were analyzed through the following steps: (1) text reading or reading techniques (listening-noting), (2) data classification, (3) interpretation, and (4) conclusion. The results of the data analysis of this study showed that Muhammad Idrus Qaimuddin (MIQ) is a legendary kabhanti writer who was known to have a commendable character, humble, full of attention to aspects of transcendental life, even though he was a king (Sultan). Kabhanti Bula Malino (KBM) has truly become evidence of the existence of a great poet who once existed in the Buton Land and KBM itself is still known by the Buton community today.

This paper studies Edgar Allan Poe's two poems; A Dream within a Dream and Annabel Lee, from a stylistic perspective. These two poems describe the desperation and hope to stay in love while they applied linguistic deviation as the medium to raise the aesthetical emotion. The aesthetical emotion within these two poems came after the linguistic level and style markers used within the poems. Therefore, this paper intended to uncover the meaning of those two poems from linguistic deviation and style markers used from the stylistic perspective. The data for this paper were collected from both poems and analysed with the qualitative description approach. This paper found that the linguistic deviation in these poems can express the aesthetic emotion the author intended to convey about the dream to love.
