COVID-19 has been declared an international public health emergency by WHO. The Indonesian government has issued a policy as a strategy for controlling COVID-19 and encourages the public to carry out social distancing. Social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic will affect the mental health of adolescents, where there is an increase in negative effects and a decrease in positive influence on adolescent emotional changes. This research is a qualitative study that aims to determine the social emotional picture of adolescents who carry out social distancing during the COVID-19 pandemic, seen from the aspects of behavior, individuals and the environment based on the SCT Bandura theory. The design used is the Rapid Assessment Procedure (RAP) and data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews through the zoom application (video teleconference). The informants were selected by purposive sampling as many as 9 informants consisting of 6 adolescent informants aged 15-24 years and 3 accompanying informants. Data were analyzed using matrices and thematic analysis. The results showed that adolescents felt various changes in relationships with family and peers during social distancing. Social and emotional changes experienced by adolescents such as stress, symptoms of anxiety, symptoms of depression and loneliness.
Covid-19 adalah penyakit pernapasan ringan yang disebabkan oleh virus yang disebut coronavirus yang ditentukan sebagai darurat dalam Kesehatan Masyarakat oleh banyak negara termasuk Indonesia. WHO merekomendasikan Travel Warning yang dibuat sebagai aturan-aturan bepergian ke berbagai negara untuk publik selama pandemi Covid-19. Penelitian kualitatif, menggunakan pendekatan analisis konten. Wawancara semi-terstruktur dilakukan dengan 3 informan yang melakukan perjalanan ke negara tersebut selama pandemi Covid-19 (sebagai Traveller) dan 1 sebagai Stakeholder. Data yang dihasilkan adalah transkrip kata demi kata dan pendekatan analisis konten digunakan untuk reduksi, penamaan data, memperoleh data analitik dan menentukan kategori dan tema. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi yang dikeluarkan oleh WHO Travel Warning mengenai protokol masuk regional di Indonesia belum sepenuhnya dilaksanakan di semua bandara. Selain itu, kegiatan PSBB juga perlu ditingkatkan sehubungan dengan ketegasan dan konsistensi pemerintah, serta upaya untuk menjatuhkan sanksi kepada mereka yang melanggarnya. Partisipasi semua sektor mulai dari pemerintah serta peran masyarakat, diperlukan untuk memutus rantai transmisi Covid-19. The data generated is word-for-word transcripts and obtains content analysis used for reduction, naming data, obtaining analytic data and determining categories and themes. The results showed that what was issued by WHO Travel Warnings regarding regional entry protocols in Indonesia had not yet been approved at all airports. In addition, PSBB activities also need to be enhanced by the government's firmness and consistency, as well as efforts to impose sanctions on those who violate them. The participation of all sectors starting from the government and also the role of the community is needed to break the transmission chain of Covid-19
Since December 2019, the world has faced challenges of the Coronavirus-19 disease (COVID-19). It is a severe infectious disease caused by the new coronavirus, SARS-CoV-2. Both the elderly groups and individuals with comorbid were most at risk of contracting this disease. They could experience severe symptoms and even death. Objective: To examine psychological health problems among the elderly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methods: This study was a review of the literature contained in the database of health journals, namely SpringerLink, Science Direct, ProQuest, and Pubmed. Selected papers based on free full text, open access, in English, and were published during 2020-2021. Results: They were 13 articles included in the review. Eleven (11) studies reported that the COVID-19 pandemic indicated psychological among the elderly group, such as increased symptoms of anxiety, depression, and feelings of loneliness. On the contrary, 2 studies showed lower anxiety, depression, and loneliness among the elderly, requiring further research evidence. Conclusion: The COVID-19 pandemic did psychological impact to the elderly. The results did not show uniform results. Therefore, further research is suggested.
