This study aims to analyze the needs of elementary school students for the development of learning models based on the Case Based Learning in improving students' critical thinking skills. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. Data was collected through interviews, tests and questionnaires, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman's model. The subjects of this study were 40 students and a class V teacher. The results of this study indicated that 90% of students were interested in thematic learning associated with everyday life. only 42.5% of students met the KKM for SBdP subjects and 35.9% met the KKM for science subjects on theme 2 sub-theme 1 learning 5. These learning results indicated that the Case Based Learning model applied had not been able to improve students' critical thinking skills.
This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of learning books based on metacognitive approaches in arithmetic operations mathematics lessons. This type of research is ADDIE model development research. Data collection techniques in this study were observation, interviews, validation, and tests. This research was conducted in class V. The results showed The product was valid in terms of media by 88%, in terms of material by 93.8%, and in terms of language by 92%; The product gets a positive response from users; and The percentage of classical learning completeness reaches 85% or most of the learning outcomes are as complete as stated.
Improve Understanding of Operations in Calculating Subtraction and Adding Round Numbers with Muzax Media. The low learning outcomes of class VI SDN 104223 Bingkawan in addition and reduction of integer material indicate that students' understanding of the material is still low, one of the reasons is the absence of learning media for the material. The purpose of the mentoring and training activities is to improve students' understanding of the sum and counting operations of integers. This activity was conducted on April 9, 2019 until May 25, 2019 at 104223 Bingkawan SDN with pre-test and post-test techniques. After carrying out mentoring activities using MUZAX (Multifunctional Zahlen Box) media on addition learning and integer reduction for 24 students of class VI, there was an increase in learning outcomes by 75%.Keywords: Sum Numbers Addition and Reduction, MUZAX, Primary School Students.
