In Processing Purchase Order data is still done manually so it takes a long time in the process of recording data on demand for goods and the difficulty of processing orders from branch offices in the region, also frequent loss or damage to files stored in archives, this study aims to facilitate purchasing department staff to managing goods data, supplier data, requests for goods from each department and area as well as the history of purchases that have been made. This program was created using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) system development method with the Rapid Application Development (RAD) model. The development of this program is in the form of a website that can be accessed online by all employees of PT Suryaprana Nutrisindo in Indonesia and officers from thePurchasing department. The program is built using the Flexurio Framework.
Muhammadiyah University of Tangerang, especially the Informatics Engineering study program as one of the study programs that participates in organizing campus activities in an effort to add insight and knowledge of students beyond the theory gained during lectures. One example of an activity is a seminar. The seminar encountered several obstacles, namely information related to the activities to be held not yet centralized, making recaps of seminar participants which were sometimes invalid, queues during registration, distribution of certificates, and certificate duplication. The Informatics Engineering Study Program requires an activity management system or application and e-certificate verification to facilitate the seminar registration process until the certificate is printed. The seminar application is built based on a website using the PHP programming language and the database uses MySQL. The method used is a data collection method consisting of observation methods, interview methods, and library methods. And using the Waterfall method as a method of system development which is one of the methods contained in the system development methodology called the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC). The results of this study are the applications built can assist in providing information related to seminar activities, printing, and validating activity certificates online, and the applications built are able to verify e-certificates by utilizing QR-Code technology on android devices.
- Version Control is a system that keeps track of the historical changes and usage of a resource within an integrated storage media. Version Control (also widely known as a Source Code Management System) is a crucial component for any team working on software development. Version control will keep a record of every single source code change to a file or document, such as historical data, comparisons between different versions, and even access rights to that file or document. A wise choice on which Version Control system to use will have a massive effect on the performance of the Software Developers. Hence many factors must be acknowledged in the process of making the decision of which product to use. The objective of this research is to find which features/attributes of a Version Control System are most influential in the aforementioned decision making process. The research explores the features/attributes inherent in three well known Version Control systems – Subversion, Mercurial and Git. This is done using ISO 9126 as a criteria. Influential factors in the decision making process are gauged using a descriptive analysis technique, and the instrument used in this case is the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Extensive questionnaire data was 'fed' into the AHP technique, and based on the results obtained, it was calculated that Subversion is the more favorable Version Control system compared to Mercurial and Git. It can thus be concluded that Subversion is the best Version Control system to support the productivity of software developers. Keywords: Version Control, Subversion, Mercurial, Git, Analytical Hierarchy Process.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
