Recently there is an increase in interest to use art as a part of the healthcare healing process and environment. The artwork is now regularly set as a condition in design feature for hospitals. The benefits of art in hospitals and medical institutions have been confirmed by numerous studies and subjective evidence. The artwork produced can be a commission collection or a seamless development of interior design concepts. This paper attempts to compile and discuss a range of artistic works and artists that specialize in nature and abstractions of nature which have contributed to healthcare or the healing environment. The paper highlights their thoughts and ideas on the making of their concepts and the way certain techniques help achieve their artistic works. The guidelines published in a study will also be reviewed. Selecting the right artwork for a medical facility requires various thoughts and concern. This includes choosing landscapes and nature-based art, avoiding abstract art, and choosing the right colours for art. Notably, there are many benefits for patients in using beautiful wall art for hospitals and healthcare facilities. The paper reckoned that the primary goal for the patient's well-being is choosing art that can help the patient and improve the overall aesthetic quality of the space. The integration of the healing environment into medicine has taken a more holistic approach and has turned the hospital environment into a place of courage that impacts both staff and patients' well-being. Visual stimulation of nature, natural lighting, artwork, relaxing colours and therapeutic sound can greatly accelerate the therapeutic process. The paper concluded that when art is considered an integral part of hospital design, this will maximize the benefits of arts in healthcare facilities.

This article takes a look and survey of the approaches in interior design possibilities and expressions in applying the use and particular structural qualities of bamboo. This particular material has gained much interest due to its quality of being rapidly replenishable, thus allowing it as an alternative to more depleting resources such as timber and other materials. The paper focuses on the higher applications of bamboo and the recent corporate space design and its typological function gain from the application of bamboo as an interior design strategy and aesthetics. With the move by the United Nation on having 17th initiatives under Sustainable Development Goals (SGDs), this study will discuss further how bamboo could be improving the quality of life in the countries with the tropical climate where bamboo vastly grown and reliable as one sustainable material in construction of structure outdoor, indoor and also to be used widely in arts & craftsmanship in the region.

This study presents semiotics semantics theory as a possible standard for exploring the interrelations amid learning and the design of informal learning environments. The theoretical notions of classification (Bernstein, 1996), formality (Halliday, 1996), and framing (Bernstein, 1996) were sourced to explain the approach in selected exhibition galleries in Petrosains. Studies on the relationships between signs and symbols and what they represent, especially the relations between form and their reference in the physical world or the world of ideas, have been performed. Applying the semiotics semantics theory to the science centre settings has significant ability for expanding awareness of the role that exhibition plays in the visitor experience, and apprising the design strategies. The findings suggest that the representational modes do promote an investigative learning of science in pedagogical functioning.
