Character building is very appropriate to be carried out from an early age in the implementation of education that focuses on character building. However, not all educational institutions are able to organize various character building programs for children. Toilet training is one of the programs that can be done to shape children's character. This paper is intended to describe and analyze the process of character building for children through the toilet training program at PAUD Abaca. The data in this study were collected through interviews, observation and documentation. Then the data was analyzed using the stages of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results showed that there were three stages carried out by the teacher in the implementation of the toilet training program to shape the child's character, namely the stage of introducing kindness, the stage of doing kindness and the stage of reviewing kindness. The result of the toilet training program is that children have the ability to be obedient to the rules and etiquette of washing. This obedience makes children able to be disciplined, independent, responsible and love cleanliness when washing in the toilet.
This research at developing bowling letters game as learning media in increasing the early childhood language development, and knowing the feasibility of bowling letters as a learning media in developing early childhood language. It was a research and development (R&D) which derives from Borg and Gall. The subject of this research was Play Group of State Kindergarten Perttiwi, Kecepatan Hulu district, Rokan Hulu Regency. Questionnaire validated by material and media experts, principal, and teacher was used for collecting the data. The data obtained was qualitative that was analyzed by the guidelines assessment criteria to determine the quality of bowling letter developed. This research produced a product like bowling letters as learning media based on media expert assessment was 82.6% in very proper category, 85% was from media expert assessment in very proper category, 84.37% was from teacher assessment in very proper category, and 83.75% was the limited trying out in very proper category. And for early childhood language development in the play group, it can be stated as developing because children are able to Pretend to read illustrated stories in books in their own words, Begin to understand two commands given at the same time, Begin to express a desire by saying simple sentences (6 words) and Start telling your experiences with simple stories
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis Grit akademik pada mahasiswa yang bekerja, adapaun jenis penelitian ini menggunakan kualitatif dengan metode studi Fenomenologis untuk memahami pengalaman yang dialami individu dan makna yang terkandung di dalamnya. Untuk data peneliti menggunakan wawancara menggunakan 3 aspek yaitu: Tekad, ketahanan dan fokus. Berdasarkan hasil analisis penelitian responden penelitian memiliki target dan cita-cita yang ingin dicapai untuk lulus tepat waktu serta terus berusaha menyelesaikan tanggung jawab di bidang akademik. Strategi yang diterapkan untuk dapat bertahan hingga lulus tepat waktu dengan cara mengorbankan waktu kerja untuk bisa menyelesaikan tugas, menyempatkan pengerjaan tugas di sela waktu kerja, dan melakukan lembur demi menyelesaikan tugas kuliah. Adapun faktor yang membuat subjek penelitian masih tetap fokus untuk meraih tujuan lulus tepat waktu, yaitu: dukungan orangtua, dan dukungan pendidik.
