In the study the features of the formation of historical and state-of-the-art architecture of Rostov-on-Don were observed. The features of architecture in the context of the historical and architectural development of the city. Tendencies of development of the environmental approach in buildings using, as examples, the historical monuments of cultural heritage and new present-day structures based on field-scale and scientific research. Relevance of the study is devoted to problem of development of architectural environment of historical center cities, including the Rostov-on-Don, to save its completeness and authenticity. The goal of study is to analyze a nowadays architectural environment of a center city in the Rostov-on-Don, using the some of the samples, as well as to analyze the effect of some state-f-the-art construction objects on the city architecture. The task of the study is to determine the effect of present-day buildings on architectural-artistic appearance of architectural environment of a center city in the Rostov-on-Don. Rostov-on-Don city is unique and from the architectural point of view. Its appearance was formed during a 300 years. In the study historical environment of Rostov-on-Don was observed basing on some of the examples of present-day and historical construction of buildings, their impact on the perception of the integrity and authenticity of the architectural environment. Examples of successful and negative experiences were given. The analysis of the perception of the historical appearance of the Rostov-on-Don city was realized.
ЦИРКУМПОНТИЙСКИЙ ЭТНОНИМИКОН (этимологические штрихи к портрету абиев) В статье предпринята попытка этимологизировать упоминаемый в греческих и латинских источниках этноним ἄβιοι 'справедливейшие' (у Гомера) / γάβιοι 'гостеприимнейшие' (у Эсхила) на иранской почве в связи с (вост.)-иран. *hаb a-/ *hар a-, семантическое наполнение которого может отражать как идею обожествленной справедливости, так и идею гостеприимства. Реконструированный этноним относится к носителям скифо-сакских диалектов и возник в результате разделения скифов на две ветви-«скифов европейских» и «скифов азиатских».
The main aim of the proposal article is to put in order the data of two indissolubly tied towns – Perekop and Armyansk (both in Krasnoperekopsky district). those towns history is closely tied and reflecting in their names, needing renewed and detailed commentaries. Primarily, Perekop was known as the Tάφρος, Taphræ since the І b.c. and since XVIII A.D. as Or, Or–Аgzy, Or–Каpі, Ferrah–Kerman. This fortress was the only one terrestrial way to the Crimea. But after the main part of Greek and Armenian people resettlement to the situated in five miles trade point in the thirties of the XVIII century, this point (Armyansk town nowadays) obtaines two new names Yeni / Novy–Bazar and Armyansky Bazar (which repels both new townsfolk natonality and those main line of work). at the same time, much of these oiconyms (besides Ferrah–Kerman) demonstrates extreme semantic firmness: at various times and in different languages these ones has been the ‘ditch’ meaning saving: Gr. τάφρος, Lat. Fossa, Old-Ukr., Old-Russ. Перекопъ(ь), Pol. Przekop, Prsecop, Tat. Or / Ор (Or–Аgzy and Or–Каpі), Russ. Rov. There such semantic typology examples in the Crimean oiconymy (and in toponymy in general) are frequent and forming one of the main Tauric toponymy features, reflecting an active centuries-old lingual interaction process. There Armyansk, Yeni / Novy–Bazar and Armyansky Bazar oiconyms have not any features of the typological continuity and reflects the new settlement rising circumstances. The article has an analytical character and devoted to consideration of topical issues of modern Orthodox church construction of South Russian region on the example of the Cathedral of the Holy equal to the Apostles great Prince Vladimir in Sochi and the Church of the Holy Apostle John the Theologian in Kuschevka, Krasnodar region. The aim of the research is to identify traditional and innovative elements of the architectural and artistic image of churches. The architectural - artistic and compositional analysis of the architecture of two modern Orthodox churches of the southern region is carried out. The characteristic of the architectural image of the church is given, the ratio of tradition and innovation is revealed. On the presented examples, the method of comparative analysis carries out a detailed analysis of the churches on the compositional, constructive, artistic and stylistic characteristics of architecture. Conclusions about the creation of architectural images of Orthodox churches in relation to the studied examples, the influence of traditional historical trends on the modern appearance of religious buildings are presented. Each church has a completely individual modern architectural and artistic image, various design solutions and urban and climatic conditions of construction. Completely different building materials and personal preferences of the creators are used. However, they are united by some General principles of the symbolic Church creed. Assumptions are made about possible ways of further evolution of the work of the architect of Orthodox church architecture in modern conditions.
