Complexation of poly(N,N-dimethyl-N-benzyl-N-methacryloyloxyethyl)ammonium chloride with oppositely charged amphiphilic compounds was studied. The solubility and hydrodynamic properties of the resulting complexes in chloroform, methanol, and chloroform3hexane and chloroform3toluene mixtures were determined.
The possibility of synthesis of polymer3colloid complexes by polymerization of 1,2-dimethyl-5-vinylpyridinium methyl sulfate and N,N,N,N-trimethyl(methacryloyloxyethyl)ammonium methyl sulfate in a solution of sodium dodecyl sulfate was examined.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
