CO2 emissions are one of the main causes of the global problem of climate change, the solution to which requires the efforts of every country. One of the main polluters is the energy sector, which includes transport. Despite the seemingly small share of aviation in emissions, its role as a polluter and CO2 emitter cannot be underestimated due to calculated specific rate and a number of factors that were researched. The purpose of this study was to analyze the aviation share in the polluters’ structure and to study if Covid-19 restrictions influence on it, to investigate the share of CO2 emissions from air transport in Ukraine and to assess its impact, to forecast CO2 emissions in Ukraine by 2030 and to build scenarios of possible changes in the direction of decarbonization in the aviation industry. Analysis and synthesis, comparison, methods of pairwise regression and modelling scenarios were used for solving these tasks. The results show that the aviation industry could achieve the carbon reduction targets only by applying different types of carbon pricing with conducting the research and development in the sphere. The last significant improvement in aircraft design technologies and flight operations was achieved almost 60 years ago. Economic incentives at the international and local scales should be used to stimulate aviation manufacturers to invest significant money on R&D to find stable solutions to achieve decarbonization. Development of Ukrainian aviation industry should not stand aside from global trends and must meet modern challenges, including environmental issues. The created scenarios show solutions to achieve decarbonization goals that align with EU best practices.
The electronic scientific and practical journal is registered in international scientometric data bases, repositories and search engines. The main characteristic of the edition is the index of scientometric data bases, which reflects the importance and effectiveness of scientific publications using indicators such as quotation index, h-index and factor impact (the number of quotations within two years after publishing). In 2020,
The evolution and preconditions of formation, challenges and factors for circular economy development are investigated in the article. Were analyzed and generalized the existing scientific approaches to the definition of "circular economy", which are conditionally systematized into 9 groups: section of economy, paradigm, strategy, model, system, ecological opportunity, recycling technology, tool of "green" economy, type of economic activity. It is proposed to consider the term "circular economy" from such aspects as: the modern paradigm of logistics systems’ development; sustainable development strategy; sustainable business model of the national economy; economic model based on industrial waste recycling technology; logistics flow management tool, which is based on an integrated approach (integration of system, process, situational, functional); activities aimed at implementing a closed cycle of logistics flows to increase the level of the national economy environmental security. Were was accomplished a statistical analysis of the national logistics system development in consideration of the environmental component. It was established that the "green" transformation of Ukrainian logistics system in a circular economy is not effective enough. This is due to the limited amount of funding for environmental protection and insufficient development of the industrial waste recycling system. These issues require the development of a set of appropriate institutional measures and the adoption of radical logistics decisions based on European best practices.
The article considers the peculiarities of the logistics controlling practice in managing transport enterprises. The depth of the logistics controlling implementation helps to analyze the functioning of logistics controlling and identify opportunities for further improvement. To determine it at the transport company, it is necessary to evaluate and analyze the performance of the logistics controlling tasks and the use of its tools. To carry out such an assessment, 20 indicators of the depth of logistics control implementation are used. Determining the depth of the logistics controlling implementation for transport enterprises goes through three stages: organizational, content-technological, and practical. The goal of the organizational stage is to create a group of experts and prepare relevant materials for the survey. The goal of the content-technological stage is an expert evaluation of the indicators of the depth of the logistics controlling implementation. The goal of the practical stage is to determine the depth of the logistics controlling implementation by experts. In the third stage, the analysis and discussion of the results of the assessment of the depth of the logistics controlling implementation are carried out, and further areas of improvement of logistics controlling are determined to increase the efficiency of the logistics processes management. Evaluation of the depth of the logistics controlling implementation was carried out at two transport enterprises; the results showed the intensity of the tools’ use in their management. The authors conducted an analysis that made it possible to determine directions for improving the logistics processes management for domestic transport enterprises based on logistics controlling, and to single out the stages of improving the management of transport industry enterprises. Mentioned steps are the following: assessment of the level and depth of the logistics controlling implementation, ensuring the functioning of logistics controlling as a continuous process based on Web-based and IT technologies, and using a wide range of primary and special logistics controlling tools.
This topic's study is due to modern challenges to ensure sustainable development in a volatile market environment. It is especially so for those who want to invest money to generate additional income, taking into account financial risks. For this, it is necessary to increase the level of use of information computer technologies to minimize financial risks. The work's practical significance is based on the analysis of mathematical models used in the formation of investment portfolios. For the first time, a comparative study of investment portfolios containing various types of assets in the Ukrainian economy (particularly cryptocurrency) was carried out, and their residual risks were analyzed. Optimal investment portfolios for direct and inverse problems have been formed. For the optimal use of savings and consideration of factors affecting the adoption of final investment decisions, the necessity of applying modern mathematical models and the capabilities of information computer technologies has been substantiated. Applied solutions are associated with processing a large amount of information, including in tabular form. Also, a significant part of these tasks is associated with optimization, and therefore the use of information technology is essential. One of these programs is a universal MS Excel, which can handle the tabular data and optimize both linear and nonlinear problems with the «Solver» and analyzed by the «Sensitivity» tool. Table processor MS Excel allowed processing tabular data using mathematical and statistical functions for working with matrices. For ease of use of the table processor features, a program was created in the VBA environment to install and select the parameters of the optimization models. The investment portfolio's optimal structures were calculated from the considered assets, which provide the maximum possible profitability at a given risk level (direct problem) or the lowest potential risk at given profitability (inverse problem). As a result, the investment portfolio's direct and inverse optimization problems were solved using the quasi-Sharpe model. All this allows the spreadsheet processor to be widely used both by professionals.
