Abstract. The article describes the different approaches to the interpretation of educational innovations and innovations in education. The modern labor market requires graduates ability to operate such technologies and knowledge that meet the needs of the information society, prepare young people for new roles in this society.It is necessary to distinguish between the concepts "educational innovations" and "innovations in education". Innovation in education is a broader concept than educational innovation. They include educational, scientific and technological, infrastructural, economic, social, legal, administrative and other innovations. Educational innovations are understood as a procedure or method of educational activity that differs significantly from established practice and is used to increase the level of efficiency in a competitive environment. Educational innovations include pedagogical innovation, scientific and methodological innovation, educational and technological innovation. It is substantiated that the education market is one of the most important elements of the national innovation system. Higher education institutions that have chosen an innovationbased development, become competitive leaders on the education market. The formation of new forms of education and the use of perfect controlling mechanisms at each educational institution will give the opportunity to create single educational space, which is able to meet the needs of society in quality education with specific opportunities of customers in the educational market. The main components of the innovation development of higher education institutions are determined.
The development of a socially oriented market economy in Ukraine, the effective implementation of reforms in this direction and the improvement of the well-being of the population is not possible without qualitative financial support for the competitiveness of workers, above all, in the mining industry. However, the absence of effective levers of influence on the organization of high-tech production in this area, its considerable intensiveness of material and energy, and its complexity and harm have negatively affected the labor motivation of miners and the profitability of mining enterprises. Therefore, the urgent issues at the current stage of development of Ukraine's mining industry are determining the conditions and opportunities for increasing the competitiveness of employees in this industry. Scientific novelty of the results is to identify, substantiate and analyze the main stages of financial support for the competitiveness of workers in the mining industry under the conditions of a changing vector of the country’s foreign economic policy and of market for products of this industry. The obtained results of the research are the basis to both the study and practical solution of the problem of how to increase the competitiveness of miners in enterprises under various forms of management. This approach involves not only a high level of material incentives for highly qualified specialists in mining, but also a comprehensive development of personnel potential in this industry as a whole.
With the help of analysis the recommendations of major international conferences, treaties and conventions over the last two decades of reforming the education system for sustainable development have substantiated that the range of scholars interested in addressing the issues of progress towards sustainability has expanded from economists to scientists and economists. Businessmen, educators and representatives of governments, politicians, managers who are trying to bring sustainable development ideas into practice with all stakeholders. Attention is directed to finding new solutions to the problems of sustainability of the biosphere and society. The main solution to the problems is the formation of national educational systems for sustainable development, which should include environmental, social and economic, organizational and managerial aspects of shaping the quality of training of specialists and the quality of life of humankind, using formal, non-formal inclusive democratically oriented models of education and science. In all areas with public awareness, broad access to education and a reorientation of the entire education system to take into account sustainable issues of development. Education for sustainable development should be at the forefront of the concepts and strategies for moving towards sustainability, which provided for the development of a National action plan for the implementation of the United Nations Strategy for education for sustainable development. It is established that activities to disseminate his ideas will help to improve the quality of education and to implement the principles of “Education for All”. Sustainable development issues should be included more actively in higher education institutions (HEI) curricula and science, at all levels to promote the formation of a national education system for sustainable development, and to formulate five- and ten-year framework programs and National action plans for the implementation of the UN Strategy. Transformation of HEI curricula and curriculum, primarily those providing pedagogical education, to form sustainable development competencies for future and contemporary teachers (academics) should be a priority of the National Action Plan for the implementation of the Strategy. We describe the basic requirements for the preparation of a modern teacher who would possess communication managerial, qualitative competencies.
The article presents the main aspects of theoretical and experimental study of the conditions for the “soft skills” formation of future athletes and physical education teachers in higher education institution. The content and features of the “soft skills” formation of a professional are revealed. The place of "soft skills" in the professional structure of the athlete and teacher personality and the role in the implementation of professional activities is determined. Complex multi-level solution of problems; critical thinking; creativity; people management; cooperation with others; emotional intelligence; judgment and decision making; customer orientation; ability to negotiate; cognitive flexibility; stress resistance; effective job search have been chosen for criteria of "soft skills" formation of university students majoring in physical culture and sports. Levels of formation of "soft skills" are ranked according to the degree of manifestation into initial, low, medium and high.With the help of these indicators, the conditions for the effective “soft skills” formation of modern students in the field of physical education and sport of higher education institutions are experimentally tested.It is recommended to supplement part of the educational components of the professional training of the educational program with topics that will contribute to the formation of "soft skills". It is important to target students to participate in soft skills training, and also to bring up the need for self-improvement as soft skills are crucial for graduates in employment and career development in the context of globalization.
