The role of religious leaders is increasingly significant in the era of advances in information technology. The ease of influence and the role of religious leaders in controlling change significantly influence society. The primary purpose of community service activities for religious leaders is to act as an agent of health reform in the community during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This method of community service is socialization, training, and advocacy of the approach through the department of religion, and empowerment of religious leaders in the Sorong City area, Masimsa sub-district. Behavioral results obtained more pre-test scores with a level of understanding of less as much as 40, enough of as much as 48%, and Good as much as 12%, while Table 4.2 level of understanding Post Test after being given a pocketbook, health education was carried out on the Covid 19 pandemic and training with methods playing a role, the results obtained are more good levels of understanding (94%) and at least less (0%), so it can be concluded that there is a difference in the results of pre-test behavior with post-test behavior. Community service results can improve the behavior of religious leaders as agents of Covid-19 renewal. As we all know, medical personnel always deal with patients and most people in hospitals. Without using standard PPE, patients can potentially become infected with the virus and vice versa and become carriers of the virus to those around them. Until now, there is still many medical personnel who use non-standard PPE while they are at the forefront of handling the Covid-19 virus. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effectiveness of education on the attitudes and behavior of using PPE for Health Workers when treating COVID-19 patients by adopting the Covid-19 Outbreak PPE Technical Guidelines. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design (Quasi Experiment) (one group pretest-posttest design). The sample in this study were health workers who worked in the COVID-19 room at the Sele Be Solu Hospital, Sorong City, aged 25-50 years, with more than 15 years of work experience. The sample amounted to 48 people divided into 24 respondents, each with a simple random sampling technique. In this study, the researcher conducted a pre-test on the respondents using a questionnaire compiled based on the technical guideline for the COVID-19 outbreak. Furthermore, respondents were given technical guidelines and explained the contents of the technical procedures. After one week, the researcher conducted a post-test by providing a questionnaire and observing PPE use during work. The ethics committee has approved this research of the Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health, Sorong number DM.03.05/6/051/2021. Data analysis used paired sample t-test. The statistical test results showed that there were differences in attitudes and behavior in the two groups with a significance value of 0.013 and 0.001 respectively after education by adopting the Covid-19 Outbreak PPE Technical Guidelines Book. This study found that education using technical instructions (juniors) on the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) improved nurses' attitudes and behavior in the use of PPE during the treatment of COVID-19 patients. Tanpa menggunakan APD yang standar dapat berpotensi terinfeksi virus dari pasien dan kebalikannya menjadi pembawa virus kepada orang disekitarnya. Sampai waktu ini masih banyak tenaga medis yang memakai APD tidak standar sementara mereka menjadi garda terdepan dalam penanganan virus Covid-19. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas edukasi terhadap sikap dan perilaku penggunaan APD Tenaga Kesehatan saat perawatan pasien COVID-19 dengan mengadopsi Buku Juknis APD Wabah Covid-19. Jenis penelitian desain eksperimen semu (Quasi Eksperimen) (one group pretest-posttest design). Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah tenaga kesehatan yang bekerja di ruangan covid-19 RSUD Sele Be Solu Kota Sorong dengan usia 25 – 50 Tahun, Pengalaman bekerja lebih dari 15 Tahun. Sampel berjumlah 48 orang yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok masing-masing 24 responden dengan teknik simple random sampling. Dalam penelitian ini peneliti melakukan pre test pada responden menggunakan kuesioner yang disusun berdasarkan buku juknis wabah covid-19. Selanjutnya responden diberikan buku juknis dan menjelaskan tentang isi buku juknis tersebut. Selang waktu 1 minggu kemudian, peneliti melakukan post test dengan memberikan kuesioner serta mengobservasi penggunaan APD selama bekerja. Penelitian ini telah mendapat persetujuan dari komisi etik Poltekkes Kemenkes Sorong nomor DM.03.05/6/051/2021. Analisis data menggunakan Uji paired sampel t test. Hasil uji statistic menunjukan terdapat perbedaan sikap dan perilaku pada kedua kelompok dengan nilai signifikansi masing-masing 0.013 dan 0.001 setelah edukasi menggunakan mengadopsi Buku Juknis APD Wabah Covid-19. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa edukasi menggunakan Petunjuk teknis (juknis) penggunaan alat pelindung diri (APD) mampu meningkatkan sikap dan perilaku perawat dalam penggunaan APD selama perawatan pasien covid-19.
