The paper outlines developments of Yuzhnoye State Design Office dedicated to limitation of space debris in Earth orbit. Ukrainian Space Agency developed and adopted an appropriate document "Limitation of Near-Earth Orbital Debris Making at Operation of Space Technical Equipment" from July 19th, 2006 which dictates fundamental rules of space activities in Ukraine. All basic regulations of this document correspond to the Inter-Agency Space Debris Coordination Committee's international recommendations. From 2013 to 2016, Yuzhnoye State Design Office in cooperation with other Ukrainian and European organizations took part in the international project LEOSWEEP, which was partially funded by the European Union within the 7 th Framework Program. The project investigated the possibility to deorbit large objects (e.g. launch vehicle stages) from near-Earth orbits with an ion beam created on-board a spacecraft orbiting nearby a space debris object. Yuzhnoye SDO is currently working on a number of mitigation and remediation techniques including an advanced passive aerodynamic deorbit system which is non-inflatable and ergo has efficient mass and volume characteristics. As a launch vehicle developer, Yuzhnoye follows the adopted regulations to ensure zero debris emission and launch vehicle upper stages' deorbiting within the recommended time period. I. Alongside with other leading space organizations, Yuzhnoye State Design Office organized its own conceptual work on development of the Lunar Industry & Research Base. One of its operation phases is the minimal configuration base. Two modules, an airlock and a habitat, will be delivered to the Moon in the frames of this phase. They will become the first habitable outpost ensuring testing out of main technological and design solutions, exploitation technologies, practical tasks of initial and further lunar base development. Both modules are designed on the basis of a typical structure with consideration of functional supplements for each module. In terms of structure, modules represent hermetic cylindrical shells with a diameter of 3 meters and a length of 6 meters. They were designed to use existing technologies proved for development of hermetic shells (propellant tanks) of Ukrainian cooperation production.
