This paper in the historical retrospective presents the "Russian method" of training engineering personnel, which is inextricably linked with the activities of the Bauman Moscow State Technical University (BMHTS). The stages of formation and development of this approach to education in pre-revolutionary Russia are highlighted. The attitude to the tradition in the Soviet period is analyzed; the adaptation of the "Russian method" to the domestic realities in the 1990s and at the present stage is traced. Based on the study, this paper proposes to highlight several stages in the evolution of the "Russian method" of training engineers, to evaluate the contribution of the Bauman School to the process of updating domestic technical education and to generate new international standards for training modern engineers. Keywords-engineering; CDIO program; Bauman Moscow State Technical University; "Russian method" of training engineers; theoretical and practical training; innovative educational technologies; international science and technology I.
The authors of the paper have developed and proposed the structure of the educational program service (hereinafter referred to as the “EPS”) during the transition of the educational process in 2019-2020 to a new level (training is currently taking place both offline and online). The use of this system implies an increase in labor protection for EPS employees, the quality of the educational process in educational institutions of higher education (hereinafter referred to as the “Educational organizations”), simplification of work for the teaching staff, which should be consolidated at the state level. The necessity of using this structure in educational institutions of higher education has been substantiated; the concepts and principles of EPS work have been proposed. The authors of the study propose to provide for this structure both at the federal and at the local levels, thereby carrying out labor and legal protection of EPS employees.
The article investigates the history of formation and development of environmental education in Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Using the problem chronological method of study, the authors consistently analyze the contribution of teachers in the process of forming a modern attitude to environmental engineering specialties. There is a close relationship between the activities of the university in this direction and the stages of the scientific and technical revolution. The authors conclude that the University's experience in training professionals in the field of ecology is coordinated with the modern tasks formulated by the UN regarding the renewal of education for the transition of mankind to sustainable development. The university makes a significant contribution to the solution of this problem, primarily because a modern graduate should be able to deal with complex problems of interaction between man and the technosphere.
The use of training equipment for individuals with disabilities by adaptive education programs using the "Russian method of teaching engineers" is described in this paper. The points of view of scientists and specialists in the field of pedagogy and psychology are analyzed in the paper, and also the practice of using training equipment at universities is considered. In particular, the object of the research is programs of adaptive training in higher education, which are focused on training individuals with disabilities. The processes of using training equipment are analyzed, the concept of this equipment is formulated, and the necessity of usage is justified in the paper. The necessity of a creative approach in teaching activities for the introduction of training equipment to the educational process is shown in the paper. The analysis of the necessity of training equipment usage in the classes was carried out, and was revealed that the usage of training equipment increases the level of student learning in the educational program.
