Peningkatan penggunaan internet memicu pelaku media online berlomba untuk menarik pembaca. Salah satu caranya adalah penggunaan judul clickbait dalam berita. Judul-judul clickbait adalah judul yang menarik perhatian kdan pikiran pembaca untuk mengklik berita. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat kecenderungan pola judul clickbait pada berita kriminal, yakni kasus prostitusi online. Metode penelitian adalah analisis isi kuantitatif. Berita yang akan diteliti merupakan berita kasus prostitusi online artis Vanessa Angel di Tribunnews.com periode Januari hingga Juni 2019. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan Tribunnews.com menerapkan pola judul clickbait dalam berita Vanessa Angel.
Communication technology development has affected media industry. This condition forces media industry to adapt in order to keep them in the competition. Media industry now should operate in multi-platform basis. In corporate theme, one challenge that media should answer is building new corporate identity. The steps to build corporate identity are defining problem, planning and organizing the direction, acting and communicating, and program evaluation. This paper is discussing how PT Kompas Media Nusantara build their corporate identity in television industry. The brand Kompas is well-known as a daily newspaper. By 2011, Kompas held their own television stadion named KompasTV. This paper consist of four parts. First is introduction, describes about KompasTV and the media shake-up phenomenon in Indonesia. Second is literature review consists of corporate communication and corporate identity. Third is discussion about how KompasTV build their corporate identity. The fourth part is conclusion.
AbstrakMedia massa lokal berperan dalam menyebarluaskan informasi mengenai Covid-19. Pemberitaan Covid-19 masuk dalam kebijakan redaksional media karena mengandung nilai berita penting (significance). Kebijakan redaksional penting untuk diteliti karena persoalan Covid-19 ini memengaruhi seluruh aspek kehidupan dalam masyarakat dari politik, ekonomi, sosial, dan budaya. Penelitian ini akan melihat kebijakan redaksional dari media lokal di Yogyakarta, Harian Jogja dan Tribun Jogja dalam pemberitaan Covid-19. Peneliti ingin melihat bagaimana media lokal berperan menjalankan fungsinya sebagai sumber informasi yang mendidik serta menyejahterakan masyarakat melalui kebijakan redaksionalnya. Kebijakan redaksional akan dilihat melalui pendekatan story selection Gans. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah studi kasus dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam pada redaksi. Kebijakan redaksional dilihat dari periode Maret 2021 hingga April 2021. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kedua media lokal memprioritaskan agenda pencegahan Covid-19. Harian Jogja dan Tribun Jogja melihat pemerintah daerah tidak memiliki kesiapan dalam mitigasi pandemi, sehingga membuat kedua redaksi media lokal tersebut memiliki penajaman yang berbeda di masing-masing aspek story selection Gans, yaitu (1) source considerations, (2) substantive considerations, (3) product considerations, (4) value considerations, (5) commercial considerations, (6) audiens considerations, dan (7) political consideration.
Content creator is becoming an in-demand profession for the millennial generation, along with increased social media consumption in Indonesia. Content creators do not just upload content but are required to create creative content. These content creators can be called citizen journalists because they perform media functions, including providing information, mobilizing, entertaining, and spreading values to society. Content creators are also required to be professional. Professional means content creators not only create creative content but also need to pay attention to digital ethics. This study will look at the application of digital ethics among TikTok content creators. Digital ethics is essential because this moral guide will help content creators reflect on uploaded content. This study uses qualitative research with a case study method. The results show that content creators do not fully understand digital ethics principles. Digital ethics was only discovered after the informant received punishment from TikTok for the uploaded content. Furthermore, this study shows that content creators are more dominant in practicing device literacy than digital ethics.
