Software security breaches are now very extremely common and a larger percentage is caused by software design defects. Since individuals and organizations now completely depend on software systems for their day-to-day operations, it is then important to produce secure software products. This paper discusses the problems of producing secure software products and provides a model for improving software security. The model -Secure Software Development Model (SSDM), is unified model that integrates security engineering with software engineering so as to ensure effective production of secure software products. Supporting structure in form of laws is also presented to guide developers throughout the development process. We then present our experience that validates the model.

As configuration of network services is faced with wide-spread deployment problems requiring considerable human efforts and involvement, Mobile Agent based Network Management System become a central concern. Moreover, the recent developments in the area of mobile agent based network management and ever improving Java Programming language have provided important tools for designing Secure Mobile Agent based Network Management Protocol (SMAN). Again, a roaming agent on a network consumes significant network bandwidth which implies that their frequency and number must be regulated. In a sensitive and intelligent network where the Agent behaviour can be altered dynamically during the lifetime, the proposed system must be genuinely secure with less bandwidth overhead. So, it is necessary to design packet filtering and secure protocol using the modified multi-signcryption protocol for the purpose of efficiency.
According to the Euronet mobile Banking Guide, there are currently close to 400 Mobile Operators in over 133 countries who are signing up 4 to 6 new customers every second. This implies that more people are going mobile like never before. The novel method presented in this paper is an Interactive SMS Banking Agent that is incrementally scalable for banking operations. Hence, a mobile banking solution called SMS Banking that allows people to bank with their mobile phones is presented in this paper.
Over the past 20 years, computers and the sharing of information have penetrated nearly every aspect of educational life. Indeed, the reliance on Computer-aided Learning has impact on the economic structure and the cost per learner. The demand for electronic learning (e-learning) today is rapidly growing worldwide with the demand simply over stressing the limited infrastructures and resources available. The developing countries are no exception to the same and demand for elearning is relatively on the rise as well. In this paper, an attempt has been made to critically examine ideals of open source strategies for enabling such technologies and other resources available. The paper also provides key recommendations with regards to the steps that need to be taken to enhance the overall quality of the lifelong learning most especially for adults.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
